Next time crap hits the headlines about "Pakistani grooming gangs in UK" why not try to use this very logic and peddle it as "Indian grooming gangs" and see how far you get. Must we only use or allow use of "Pakistan" in negative context. I already said that our restaurants are not named after India and I gave big names in three different countries as an example. I’m sorry to say it’s your FM’s own fault if the world doesn’t know what “Lahore” or “Karachi” is.

Now for the small disclaimer “Indian Cuisine”, I can tell you that people who eat out know where the food comes from. I’m a college student and few weeks ago I was in my Economics class, where my teacher gave an example of “Pakistanis” concering the takeaway market in the UK, again “Pakistanis” NOT “Indians”.

You can be emotional as much as you want but it doesn’t change the fact that the subcontinent is “Indian”. If you got a problem with that then why don’t you try to educate the world by tell them that India was not a country untill 1947 and that they also gained independence from the Empire.

Doesn´t apply in Denmark and Sweden. In Denmark and Sweden restaurant owners name it as 'indian' because danes/swedes are famiiar with indian cuisine but not sure what pakistani cuisine is exactly.
