Actually Indian resturants should be vegeterians only because Hindus are against killing animals but most of these resturants are serving meat dishes/kebabs/biryani and most of these dishes were introduced by Muslim rulers in India so true Hinuvata should not associate ythemsleves with these foods because it brought by evil Muslim invaders

I can go on, the thing is “Indian Cuisine” reffers to the Indian subcontinent and not India. Just like the Indian Ocean. It’s because of the subcontinent.

Next time crap hits the headlines about "Pakistani grooming gangs in UK" why not try to use this very logic and peddle it as "Indian grooming gangs" and see how far you get. Must we only use or allow use of "Pakistan" in negative context. Hell would freeze over before we can lern to openly own up our brand - "Pakistan" instead of flogging of our positives as "Muslim, Indian, Desi, Asian etc" but anything slightly that smacks of negative out comes thew "P" ..... !

Not really. The fact is Indian population is more in foreign countries that run away from their country. The idea is to target them and make money off them. You guys stay mad.

you probably right, actually people in western countries think that every curry is Indian and all Indian's eat are curries. The most disappointing thing for me is that majority of them don't even know what Biryani is. Like seriously, how can anyone spend their whole life without eating Biryani?

Thats a lame logic if indian have chines or italian or maybe mediterranean restaurant means indian food cant survive or business. Pakistan sudnt use indian cuz we have better food but it also shows we are alot more open minded than indian.

interesting... never knew pakistani and indian food were so similar. always assumed they were different. Pakistanis and Indians have a lot more in common then they would like to admit

though I can see why they would do this though. indian food is awesome and has a good reputation everywhere.. If they are serving the same type of food, id label it indian as well.

Pakistani food doesn't have the same ring to it from a marketing perspective.... just an honest personal observation.
