Why do Pakistanis keep Indian names for their restaurants abroad?

Whatever. I'm glad we Indians don't need to put a Pakistani name to earn business. We do it with our own unique identity. Dignity above all else
what the hell is Indo Chinese cuisine mate?

i see it pasted all over indian veggie restaurants around the world

Implying what you consider as winning. It will take less than an hour.

What do you mean what implying as winning ? The meaning is clear enough. Bloodshed and a billion people dead , that's what.

No...
Your understanding of warfare even on a defence forum is appalling.

Most Americans don't know of a "Pakistani" cuisine, they know about "Indian" cuisine. So the stuff gets marketed as "Indian".

I've met a Nepalese man who does the same thing at his restaurant. I'll bet it's the same with Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan restauranteurs as well.

(Oddly enough, the only Pakistani-origin restauranteur I've met recently doesn't run a subcontinent-style restaurant but one well-regarded for it's French cuisine!)

Indians have simply applied for parents from basmati Rice to everything.

There is a reason we Call them 'Baniyas'.

When I am traveling, I check the mea
Check the "menu", I think is what you meant. And if beef appears on the menu then it's not really an Indian restaurant but an "Indian" restaurant. (That's how I met the guy from Nepal.)

A British Pakistani doubting my nationality , boohoo how will I ever recover from this ? :(
Dont worry . I can make you recover from this lol :D first of all i am not British and only hold only one nationality i.e Pakistani . Secondly i did not doubt your nationality but said that some of you posts and thoughts suggest that you are Indian as you think like them :P Its easy to hide ourselves behind flags but we cannot hide our thinking ..Make sure you dont end up calling yourself Indian( if you are actually Pakistani ) in foreign land because you assume they have better reputation

Do american know what is " Halal" ? Majority Pakistan resturants had big label of " Halal." written on them which is not the case with nepelese and sri lankans unless they have owners who are Muslims. Secondly i went to few Bengali resturants and they were serving alchoal in their resturantz which was big surprise for me because owners were Muslims . I never witnessed serving of alchoal in Pakistani resturants and I am talking about my experience in UK and as soon as i enter in resturanst and have look at menu and staffs then i can guess instantly that whether resturant is bengali, Indian or Pakistani

I guess the idiot Indians here have not been to Manchester and Birmingham!

.
Don’t know about other part but in USA, especially try state area Pakistani restaurant are well known.
Shalimar, Shezaan, kabab king and many other.

.
In Riyadh...a Restaurant named Sheezan is actual Indian...there is overlap of culture thats all!

Most Pakistani restaurants don't have Indian names, but many do get categorised as serving "Indian" cuisine, because white people know our food as "Indian". They don't know the distinction. At least that is the case in the UK. Its just kind of stuck now.
