No, it has not, unlike what many Chinese PDF member would like to believe. There is more understanding between India and China than ever in the past. It is futile to have a explicit confrontation between countries with more than a billion population each.

My dear CD, its our media, who always potrays there is bad blood btw the 2 countries.. I believe Indo China relationship have grown greatly under MMS-Hu conbine !!
The politicians of both sides know that all is well though china develops infrastructure in border areas !!

yup read that in wiki about him just now... Great conquest indeed... But nevertheless, he is not equal to Raja Raja or Rajendra chola... He never fought them in their peak... Moreover The king parakram, assisted the pandyas against the cholas, who were just traditional enemies....

All i wanted to say was its of no use having a self created Enemy right at your doorstep ...which by the way many of our other Rivals are waiting for so they can use it their Advantage .....suppose Ok we declare Sri lanka as hostile state..then what You want chinese navy and pakistan navy or for say US navy anchored at colombo....(which i m sure they would enjoy) .....

Right now we need them ..... but that doesn't mean they are forgiven .....

There are many ways of taking revenge ..... i repeat "Revenge is a dish best served Cold " wait for right time..

We dont revenge mate... we want justice for 30000 people killed... As for declaration for hostile state, if we even blockade colombo with few frigates n destroyers, their economy will be in shambles... I am not saying to declare war on them, nor an economic blockade, but failure of support from our very own indian brothers do hurt ..
