I mean, i live in Italy, but for work purposes i travel alot in Pakistan, one thing i have noticed is that the vast majority of people don't actually care about being good citizen. They want things to be as they are now, people actually don't want to change.
I'm really sorry to say, but most pakistanis are corrupt, and its not their fault, they have been told to accept and give bribes. The root cause of our problems is not someone from outside, but CORRUPTION, we are responsible of the mess we have created.
I used to think that those who died while defending or trying to make Pakistan a better place where our true heroes, but now i'm not sure. Those where fools, they tought they died for a good cause, but in fact they died for corrupt politicians and generals so they could plunder this country even more.

Just look at the news, a corrupt lady is out there, despite a deadly pandemic, giving speeches and threating the state instituition. Another thug, who WE call maulana, is out there explicitly lying in front of public.

If these people where in Italy, they would not have been able to win a post of mayor in a small town let alone participate in general elections, but again as i said above the problem is that the people actually don't want to change.

Why the goverment is not reforming the police, judiciary, burocracy? Why every day i read that our men are dying? What are the armed forces doing about this problem? Why our intelligency agencies are not hunting down the terrorist leaders? Why are our education institutes failing to teach what is good and what is bad?

This is all basic stuff, it's not that i'm demanding some super secret infos, every Pakistani should ask these questions.

General themselves settle down in foreign countries after retirement. Bureacracy does the same. Apnay bachay pehly bhej daity hain yeh log bahar.
