The South.
why so ambiguous when you know there is no way anyone could find you from your posts here ?

I thought you were thinking of setting up a semiconductor fabrication plant here

why the paranoia ?

I'll ask again, where are you from ?

I am from Delhi, live near the Qutub Minar, 5 minute drive from mine...

see ?

I'm not scared.

aap kaunsai shehr mein rehte ho ? you need not speak of nearby landmarks.. I'm not looking to catch you in person lol

Seems like the first moon sighting takes place somewhere in Atlantic Ocean. In Atlantic, some islands are owned by Spain. If we buy one of them and make it a Royat spot for every year, gather Ulama there every moon and telecast live scene then we can make this happen. This will further connect ummah. Also may be this way Allah bestow us with his blessings. This way, things will get further centralised and less corruption prone.
@jamahir @Areesh ji Sahibon, kia raey Hai aap Hazrat ki is bary main?
@ghazi52 @PaklovesTurkiye @_NOBODY_

I didn't receive alert for your tagging me so replying after having seeing your post now. :) Your reasoning is certainly noble and very good though I don't know if one of the islands should be bought. IMO some enlightened community people from all over the world - not the ulema we know in South Asia especially who simply spread mischief and irrationality - can certainly go stay there for that period and livestream the sighting of the Moon on YouTube. Will achieve the same result ( the sighting ) plus since those people will be enlightened it will have a positive effect on the global Muslim community. :)

I am not like Zarvan who posts his photo because he lives in an environment conducive to him being a right-winger. Let India become a leftist society and I will be confident about my internet identity. For now, "The South" will do quite well I think. As for the semiconductor plant plan, that wasn't my plan. I don't have a billion dollars or even ten million dollars to set up a pilot microprocessor plant. My company which I hope to set up with about six workers including myself is for microprocessor design and prototype which will be commercially manufactured in others' plants.

It should be enough for the curious person in the forum to know that I am from South India. The interaction should be on basis of the ideas I discuss or make and not on where I live because that isn't required.

Rest assured, I do not suffer from the bigotry disease that has one assume that any X person, from Y place/community on earth does and must conform to some collectivist idea of "those guys"

and please, I've been on the internet since it first came about, I understand and respect peoples' privacy concerns very well.

I too have a layer of privacy always guarding me when online, it is common sense to do so.

Thing here, however, is.. that nobody is looking to raid your apartment or track you down, which is impossible anyway.. unless R&Aw or the CBI or some intel rambos are trying to track you down... and have sanction/license to do so from a court of law... lol

seedhi si, bhot hi mamuli si baat hai.. normal hi-hello waali baat hai... if someone asks you "aap kahan se ho ?"

ismai darnay ki kya baat hai ?

har baday shehr mein krodon ki abadi mein log rehte hain.. aap bhi un me se ek ho..

filhaal main Dilli mai hu.. for example

"I live in XYZ city" tak bol nai mein teri itni kyu phat rahi ? ...

where is the glitch ? what is the problem ? .. something feels a bit off... or at least yeh to batao.. kis cheez se dartai ho ? oO

@-=virus=- I think he means the 'Global South' a term used by sociologists and other -logists which I am sure you have heard.

@SIPRA paa jee, on another note, since this is Whatever thread I can post nonsense here, so please use your erudite brain to explain why the buffalo has been historically subjected to so many idioms:

  1. Bhains ke aagey been bajana
  2. Gayi bhains paani mein
  3. Aqal badi ya bhains
  4. Jis ki laathi uss ki bhains
  5. Kaala akshar bhains barabar
I am sure Pakistani bhains also face this

No, he means south India, which again might be a lie.

What an insanely paranoid person he is... kis shsher mein rehta hai hi bataney mein itni fat rahi hai.. not like anyone is asking for his phone number, address and bank account etc. Why not just say it like any regular person would ? Like I'm from and in Delhi for now, apart from here I spend half the year in Goa. Joe Shearer lives in Hyderabad iirc, many others have mentioned that they are from Pune, Mumbai, Kolkotta, Bangalore etc.. what about you, btw ?

Maybe he lives in a smaller town and fears that someone else from the same town, with opposing views may identify him and create trouble for him :p: .
BTW I live in Bangalore, though I am not a South Indian. My ancestry is mixed Himachali, Rajasthani and Uttarakhand. My wife is a Rajput and descendent of one of the royal families.

Good observation. Never thought about it. But, perhaps, the reason could be that buffalo was deemed more valuable than cow, in commercial sense, in our part of the world.

5th proverb, I am hearing first time.

The 5th proverb means that to an illiterate person, a black letter (implying printed word) is the same as a buffalo 🐃

How would they do that.. I never asked him to show us a photo of what he looks like or even his real name or basically any thing that could lead to his privacy being compromised.

Ek simple se sawal ka jawab nahi de paa raha.. daal mein kuch kala hai.

nice 1, one of my cousins in married to a Himachali Rajput who also has some sort of royal ancestry.

also, wasn't too difficult, was it ? aap Bangalore mein rehte ho, main filhaal Dilli mein hoon.. koi tension nahi itni chhoti si cheez batane mein..

He might have a low threshold of what makes him wary. Maybe due to his posting history which is always critical of the government

Royalty ke din lad gaye. Sab corporates ki ghulami mein lagay hain. Though my father-in-law still lives in his dream world. I have been to some of the erstwhile havelis and what they like to call 'palaces', where some of her family members live. They are mostly in sorry condition and often rented out for movies and TV shows to make money.
