Growing up, my mom was religious and my dad was not. So Christianity played a larger role in my life and was more relevant to me on a regular basis.

Assuming that you've never been to U.S. or Canada, though I could be wrong. An American teenager is perhaps the most conflicted person growing up in very trying circumstances. Single mother's raising kids, who are just physically and emotionally not there for the most part, keeping food on the table and roof over the head. Imagine kids as young as 8 years old speaking like an adult, warming their own food(not that it is wrong) and watching and learning all the wonton stuff from near peers and whatever media and games they're into... so when they reach teenage, they're generally more complex and complicated in their worldview though not informed and into facts... go 20 miles out of any metropolitan area and the disposition completely changes. Idle, aimless kids smoking joints at coolest kids home... lifeless tracks, baseball/ball fields and busy convenience stores selling blunts, in fact everything but weed... which, by the way is legal in most places in certain amounts or altogether.
Canadians are somewhat different but overall those differences remain superficial.

Anyways, why did I write all of the above? Religion and faith is mostly peripheral to the lives of most people, used sparingly as in the rest of the world for wants, desires or afflictions. In comes immigrant parents... who for the most part remain a family with perhaps lesser degree of drama but equal exposure of their kids to their surroundings. Remember maintaining a lifestyle and keeping up with the Joneses is a hard crawl in the west and an exhausting daily grind that most in other parts of the world are still not familiar to, to this day. A teenager, of Muslim and immigrant parents will feel the real sheer of social discourse, of Islamophobia, color biases, identity politics, propaganda for and against religion and blasé irreligious types. A new identity is formed, that is often conflicted with one of their parents, one that assumes them of an inferior intellect, inferior culture and inferior religion. One that, to fit in often pretends ignorance or even if possible relinquish kinship baggage. In come the parents, who oblivious to all the drama and conditioning taking place in a teenage mind assume their kids in the mirror image of their own childhood. And, when hit by a wall behave what they assume were methods used by their parents or ones they heard ... I have interacted with kids and parents of every ethnic group across the board in U.S. primarily though white Anglo-Saxon than black, Asian and middle eastern and have tons of anecdotes of everyday life.
So, when you watch such videos and form an opinion, know that, it is only a minor reflection in an otherwise large pond... know that in mosques everyday all over U.S. people come to confess Islam of every race and ethnic background, not all are seen though practicing such, but such is the life here.

Imran khan has indeed suffered a near death experience. His enemies were poised to bury Caesar. His enemies were formidable, comprised of the anti democracy forces.

Worst they read like a Who’s Who of the corrupt. The politicians of all colours, shape, sizes and hues with only one aim, to destroy Imran Khan as a political emergent.

The established order of the PPP and PML N and who had run the country for forty years. Now challenged by a one man band. He had become Prime Minister and the politicians were set to prove that this was a fluke and was not to be a allowed to continue.

His 30 months were a constant battle for survival. Worst he was not allowed any meaningful change. Every step was countered till he looked hapless and helpless. The people could not understand this. The rumours built up of his incompetence. He was surrounded by officers whose main task was to prevent any orders of Imran Khan being carried out.

In three years the near zero success was branded as incompetence and his removal was a foregone conclusion so when the first real challenge appeared in the form of the Yousaf Reza Gillani election to the Senate turned into a fight to dislodge Imran Khan.

The victory of Yousaf Reza Gillani was touted as a personal defeat for Imran Khan. the manner with which the anti imran forces were assembled in Islamabad and the vote forcefully orchestrated by Zardari in his role as ring leader and cashier in chief, brought about the massive votes for Yousaf Reza Gillani. This converted into a price for the resignation of a “defeated PM” .

For many it looked as if Imran's short stint as power was indeed over. The unscrupulous sugar, wheat and petrol mafia cunningly aimed at hurting the pocket of every Pakistani.

This was shown to be the incompetence of Imran’s governance. Whereas the truth lay in the artful manipulation of these prices from behind the scene of anti Imran forces.

This refrain echoes to the streets of Pakistan. The poor of Pakistan bemoaned their misery at the hands of the price increases of commodities essential to their living.

These prices were artfully managed and has brought Imran’s government to this hated position. The people cannot believe that the Prime Minister of Pakistan could not control the prices. This belief was encouraged by the anti Imran forces. They thought that the time to move against Imran Khan was at hand and so the election of Yousaf Reza Gillani was chosen as the battle.

Their timing was near perfect as the moment was right. On cue the dark forces gathered in Islamabad for the Coup de grâce.

However Imran’s exit was not to be at the hands of the collected corrupt of Pakistan. the Zardaris//Sharifs thought they have defeated imran. However the establishment suddenly realised that the spectre of Imran Khan on the streets of Pakistan could create the revolution the army and the establishment would not be able to contain. This wave would destroy all.

This would be the mother of all revolutions. Where would Zardari, Sharif be able to hide. These revolutionaries do not respect beard or uniform. To them Jatti Umrah and Bilawal House are symbols of hated corupption to be despised and destroyed as the first mark of the revolution.

This can be considered the true reason fir Imran‘s vote of confidence. The army has woken up to the power of honesty which rests in Imran Khan alone. A thought that will not die.
