Fact: Geopolitics is NOT regulated by principles, morals or analogies. If that was the case Israel would not even exist. International decisions are mostly down to geo-political interests. If you get enough big weights on your side even if your cause is NOT just you will gewt it done. If you can't get the big weights on your side you can wait a million years with your morality and jack sh*t will happen. You have the example of Palestininans themselves.

I would argue by recognizing Israel Pakistan would get a greater chance to raise the Kashmiri issue. The global media ands western powers would be more open then they are right now. But for sure it would not cause any damage to Kashmir cause as it is NOT premised on morality in the first place.

Perhaps in the far future, but I don't for a second think its gonna be anytime soon. Pakistan is a deeply conservative country, and the recognition of Israel would destroy the future of any political party that's in charge.

As for the linkage of Palestine, and Kashmir, the two have been linked for a very long time. I don't know why you're surprised by this. In fact, they are so intrinsically linked that Israel and India often collaborate on tactics and technology used to suppress the populations they occupy.

Pakistan gains nothing from recognition of Israel. Western powers won't back Pakistan, because India is far too important for their interests. In fact, it actually WOULD damage the Kashmir cause, because by accepting the occupation of one people by a foreign power, western nations can use that as an excuse to force Pakistan to accept indian occupation of Kashmir.

None of these are moral arguments, they all are based upon strategic interests of each of the involved nations.
