’’میں نے جس گھرانے میں آنکھ کھولی، وہاں حجاب لباس کا حصہ سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ سو شروع ہی سے حجاب لیا. ہاں! شعوری طور پر حجاب کی سمجھ آج سے پندرہ سال پہلے آئی جب خود قرآن کو اپنی آنکھوں سے پڑھنا اورسمجھنا شروع کیا. ہم جس ماحول میں پروان چڑھے وہاں حیا اور حجاب ہماری گھٹیوں میں ڈالا گیا تھا۔ سو الحمدللہ! کبھی حجاب بوجھ نہیں لگا. حجاب کی وجہ سے کبھی کوئی پریشانی یا رکاوٹ نہیں آئی بلکہ میرا تجربہ قران کی اس آیت کے مترادف رہا​

الحمدللہ! حجاب نے میری راہ میں کبھی کوئی مشکل نہیں کھڑی کی بلکہ میں نے اس کی بدولت ہرجگہ عزت اور احترام پایا. اک واقعہ سنانا چاہوں گی، پرویز مشرف دور میں پاک فوج کی ’ایکسپو ایکسپو2001‘ منعقد ہوئی تھی، یہ ایک بڑی گیدرنگ تھی۔ اس کی تقریب میں واحد باحجاب میں ہی تھی، کچھ خواتین ( آفیسرز کی بیگمات ) نے اشاروں کنایوں میں احساس دلایا کہ ایسی جگہوں پر حجاب کی کیا ضرورت!! میں مسکرادی، کچھ دیر میں جنرل مشرف خواتین سے سلام کرنے لگے، خواتین جاتیں، ان سے ہاتھ ملاتیں، ان کے ساتھ لگ لگ کر تصاویر بناتیں.. میں کچھ اندر سےگھبرائی ہوئی تھی، اسی اثنامیں جنرل مشرف میری جانب مڑے، مجھے حجاب میں دیکھا تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ کمر پر باندھ لیے اور جاپانیوں کے طریقہ سلام کی طرح تین بار سر جھکا کر سلام کیا۔ خواتین کا مجمع میری جانب حیرت سے تک رہا تھا... میری آنکھوں میں نمی اور فضاوں میں میرے رب کی گونج سنائی دے رہی تھی...​

You are having hijab it's good for you but don't look down upon others. Your act is for God, not to show the people.

She is doctor so her writing is not some immature young emotional girl's writing but well thought out piece. It shows her league.
