Keralites call it the devil's own country because of the people living there. Sometimes I wonder if the malayalees deserve the land we have. I wonder if a people more industrious and progressive could have done better?

That is the dilemma Kerala faces. It has huge tourist numbers.

But Kerala has started to attract more industry anf Cochin is stretched.

also as @seiko would tell you, the blue collar jobs are now exclusively the purvew of Biharis and other North Indians.

There are also numerous Bengali workers in our agriculture sector I think.
