WTF? I think it is just a fan art of AMCA. Doesn't make any sense to have such a stubby aircraft.

The designs that ADA has made are pretty good and rather impressive by sarkari standards. IAF seems to be pleased enough to plce ASR 2 years ago.

Anyone else notice the oddly placed canard(lerx or whatever it's supposed to be)... HAL official publication?

This is not a resized AMCA. This looks like a delta-canard configuration, see where the wingtip missile is placed.
