Did IAF Hide This Jaguar Crash in 2021?

1 SU30 MKI was successfully repaired and put into operation by the IAF
You must be referring to 19th April 2012 Crash.
Now this makes IAF actually not owning 2 crashes of MKI rather than one now. LoL

Here are the dates of Officially crashed MKIs:
  1. 30 APR 2009
  2. 30 NOV 2009
  3. 13 DEC 2011
  4. 19 APR 2012 (Possibly Repaired)
  5. 19 FEB 2013
  6. 14 OCT 2014
  7. 19 MAY 2015
  8. 15 MAR 2017
  9. 23 MAY 2017
  10. 27 JUN 2018
  11. 08 AUG 2019
This makes it 11 - 1 ( one repaired possibly) = 10 losses up till 30th DEC 2022.
Kindly inform me why IAF ordered or demanded 12 Su 30 MKI to make up FOR LOSSES uptil 2022?

IAF & Su 30 MKI 'Raptor of the East' unfortunate relation especially in this matter makes me think the AMRAAM Dodgers might not have really been that good at dodging on that unlucky day. Linking with one of my previous post here, I let you decide if IAF lies or not...

Meant to be replacements is a broad statement bhai. It can be 11 lost/ 12 bought. 12 lost/11 bought.

Ultimately it is Defence Min that has to approve funds- they can give less money than asked for, more money than asked for or say, buy some more?

What if someone noticed structral fatigue in a plane and said this cannot be fixed (First Sukhoi enetered service in 1996 and are almost 30 years old)?

You are cooking up all kinds of scenarios basis press statements. You think they will say 11 crash and 1 replacement?

To form a squadron, you need at least 12 fighters and a max of 18 fighters

So IAF will replace EXACTLY the number of planes they lost- not one more not one less. 'Replace' jumla hai bhai.
The timeline of Su-30 orders by IAF is as follows:

1996: 18 Russian-built Su-30K and Su-30MK (basic versions for training). Also 32 Russian-built Su-30MKI ordered. Total of 50 aircrafts.

2000: 140 Su-30MKI ordered, these were license-built in India.

2007: Another 40 aircrafts were ordered. License-built in India.

2010: Another 42 aircrafts were ordered. License-built in India.

Thus, a total of 272 aircrafts were ordered.

The aircraft is still in production at HAL, Nashik and 260 aircrafts have been delivered.

Recently, 12 more aircrafts were ordered to replace the ones lost in various accidents.

The Su-30MKI is operated by 13 squadrons located in 9 Air Force Stations present in different parts of the country.

Indeed the backbone of IAF!

Probably did.

India has been desperately trying to sell its "powerful super rich India" narrative for a long time.

Military prowess is part of it. But fabricating lies is too much tbh.

You keep harping on this su 30 MkI order, even when I have explained this dozen aircraft order is due to HALs assembly line capacity and nothing else.

Even if 10 aircraft or 13 aircraft were lost in accidents, IAF would have had to order 12 or 24 aircraft, because that is the minimum order to keep Su 30 assembly line occupied for the year till, next batch order is placed.

That's why they are not getting anywhere except on paper.
