French themselves have said that the current price offered to India is CHEAPER than the previous price offered during the CONgress rule.

Its 9% cheaper as per official records since all the parts are made in France.

Why are we buying only 36 planes and not 126, when that is the longstanding stated need of our airforce.

The BJP is leading us and spending my money. Not the Congress.

We are not paying more if you compare apple to apple. Adjusted for inflation the price is 9% cheaper for a fully loaded aircraft.

the price details were submitted to the SC and they are OK with it.

Why are we buying only 36 planes and not 126, when that is the longstanding stated need of our airforce.

Have you heard of phase wise purchase. No one is saying we will not purchase the rest of the aircraft. First 36 rest later. Even AK Anthony said that we did not have the money to buy all 126 at one go.

The BJP is leading us and spending my money. Not the Congress.

The congress did not buy the aircraft when they were in power. Now the BJP is buying it. Even if you take into account the negotiation phase they still had a couple of years to buy it. Why did they not do it then?

I have been quite open and frank.

I am looking out for me and my own when I vote.

This thread was started on the premise that we have all made up our minds and now are just waiting for polling day.

I at least am not interested in converting anyone here. Mo's of us have had our bellyfull in the past four and a half years.

It's now time to count down. And recap.

I've also been quite honest about what I see were the positives of this government, this term.

You could maybe follow suit and try and contribute to the topic constructively.
