As everyone knows, the major problem of Muslim civilization is that Muslim world could not see the coming and passing of Enlightenment Age and European Reform. While the strongest empires were muslim once upon a time; from 1600s to 1900s there were no independent Muslim country except Old Turkiye. And even the independence of Old Turkiye (Ottoman Empire) was disscussable. So the darkness of current Muslim world should be solved with understanding things which we did not understand in the past.
Firstly remember the Crusades and their age, time. European civilization calls this Medieval Age as "Age of Darkness"... In other words Crusades has contributed nothing except a few temporary things. But Eastern civilization was supreme in Medieval Age and could be able to beaten the Crusades... Then Ottoman Empire carried the Muslim culture from Medieval Age to Modern Age. It is important to remember that civilization is dynamic and things really changed. Europeans used these things to prepeare the Enlightenment Revolutions, but Muslim world (including the Ottoman Empire) remained static. Because Muslims were strong, Muslims were faithful, blah blah... Then sad to say in a couple decades an avarage European island country could be able to direct Muslim world as far as Pakistan and India (the Babur Empire)...
My words are for brothers who see the jihad as only solution. I want to remember that Ottoman caliphes never called the Jihad but in WW1, however no muslim country didn't or couldn't join any Jihad... On the contrary our Arabic "brothers" founded an alliance with Britain and fought against the Ottoman Empire, the state of the caliph.
Man learns to walk firstly, then when he comes to the age he can fight... So firstly Muslim countries have to gain their national character and their love of national independence. After that, this coming of age can change things again for some people.
