Let's see Army's balls when they come out and try to contain extremism in urban centres........... Jhang for example.......... and when they confront established mullah's to root out extremism within the society.......... they will fall like house of cards...........

The Pakistani identity and the hatred of a common enemy is whats keeping army and ISI together. Being in Army yes they will remain loyal to Pakistan. Hatred of a common enemy is the strongest binding force, which the bangalis lacked ofcourse.

pakistan's failures stem from the fact pakistan has formed the identity not India. Quite literally, it is not-India and this is their fundamental problem. Instead of being not India pakistan need to become pakistan. You guys need to form an identity based on commonality between the states of pakistan, a positive identity instead of an identity that is not-"insert something". When your identity is intrinsic, pakistan will be in a much better place.

Hatred is such a disgusting emotion that will do nothing to help you out. You need an intrinsic identity, not a unity against an "enemy". What happens if tomorrow that enemy becomes a neutral or a friend? Then it will defeat the purpose of your existence. Par if pakistan has a pro identity, then it won't matter about the 2nd state's relations.

We have a brand name...it is called Pakistan. We have to own this brand and we have to improve the brand image.

Improve the quality of life in Pakistan for Pakistani citizens and the people will love their land and neighbours. Just focus on progress instead of Jerusalem and New Delhi.......keep things simple.

USA came out of nothingness....a bunch of people colonies just decided on some stuff and voila you have your hyper power today. The people just wanted a piece of land to escape all that European nonsense of aristocracy, class system and religious persecutions. The people just wanted to live.

Yara, we were born in these geographical boundaries, and yes we will die within these boundaries. Countries are made and die with it's people, if we all remain united, the country will remain, else we will still occupy this land, perhaps under a different banner?

We need a new vision to unite this nation. The best idea was proposed by @Aeronaut yesterday........ ask him, he has some vision for the future...........

Birds of a feather flock together...I would say that societies evolve....if the European society wouldn't have evolved it would have remained in the dark ages or worse. You would still be seeing the Inquisition, the Protestant vs. Catholic quagmire and the Witch hunts. The Church would still hold be holding near absolute amount of power over the continent and you would still be seeing crusades.

Now they are one united continent...and not on the basis of religion I'd say. It is separate from the statehood.
