On topic, it was and is positive for me. I have got very close Pakistani friends with whom I spent my university life in the UAE. We never had the need to bring up any 1971 or other political issues cuz for us, it was always about counter strike, girls, foods, movies and chilling.

That's why I dont take PDF opinions seriously. I've had almost positive experiences and will remain as such.

We Pakistanis as a nation don't care what Bangladeshi people think about us.
Every country in the world is busy to fight with Pakistan through military, hostile agencies and economically from day one. We have negative foreign reserves today as well as they put us on FATF. Indians are continuously busy in war from eastern side of border. Iran fires mortars, help hostile agencies and gave naval port to Indians on our back yard from the southwest border in response to our support to Middle East. 37 countries with hostile agencies in Afghanistan fighting and blaming Pakistan on their stalemate on the west and north side of border. The northeast of the border side is the disputed territory (with India) of Kashmir, Line of Control violations are routine business of Indians. American are planning to strike through sea for teaching a lesson in response to "No More" because we are not strong in navy as compared to USA. We know, no one likes Pakistan except 3 friendly countries (Turkey, China and Saudi Arabia) and wants to destroy Pakistan.
Bengali people played critical role in "4th generation warfare in east Pakistan in 1971 which they called " war of liberation" with support of Indians, Israel (takes revenge of 1967 war) and Super power "USSR" of that time with small deployment of Pakistan army as compared to Indians and USSR, which have no resources and training to fight (4th generation warfare), Pakistan Navy destroyed by USSR, Air force restricted by USSR Planes, isolates Pak Army which was 1000 miles away from their bases, Army men surrendered to save lives of Ordinary Bengali People to stop blood shed by hostile agencies and to avoid collateral damage. It is very painful but Pakistan is steadfast in all times of war and hurdles.
A very similar 5th generation warfare game is playing in our tribal belt, Karachi and Baluchistan province by rest of the world now a days. Today we understand better what happened in 1971 and we as a nation, acknowledge Pakistan Army sacrifices in 1971 and today. We don't care what Bengali people think about Pakistan and Pakistan Army. Now a days ordinary Muslim people from all over the world looks for helps toward Pakistan not Bangladeshi people and its army. It is a matter of pride for Pakistan Army.
Traitors will pay price for harming Pakistan and Pakistan Army which force the army men to lay down weapons to the dogs of hell "Hindus,". USSR meets its destination. One day history and time will teach a lesson to Bengali and Indians which there generation remembers.

We as a nation, don't care views and threats from super power's president with all military might, how you think, we care Bengali people views about Pakistan. Extremely funny. You guys always remember as traitors whenever historian writes the history of The Land of Pure (The Pakistan) in defeating super powers of the world. We live with honor and dignity. We never throw mud on traitors. Pakistan army and ISI (Invisible Soldiers of Islam) keeps tracking traitors and enemies until they meet there fate. I have met some Bangladeshis here. Very nice people no doubt. Some have even said to me that we should have been together. Most however follow Indian narrative that Pakistan Army carried out genocide. From independent research and sources, this Indian claim has been refuted with facts.

Fact of the matter is, separation of East Pakistan was a terror operation carried out by India to weaken Pakistan. Indian PM himself admitted this in Dhaka.

My intentions for this thread is not to create/cause animosity or hatred between the two PDF communities. I would like to know how Pakistan is perceived by the Bangali population? I'm aware in the west, SouthAsians tolerate eachother, forming a respectable coexistence built on a shared cultural landscape and ofcors Cricket and food. Im refering to the thoughts, feelings and opinions of residents of Bangladesh. In recent years social media has created a platform for south Asians, in particular Indians and Pakistanis to interact with eachother and dismiss certain asupmtions and stereotypes. However there is very little between Pakistanis and Bangladeshis apart from one YouTube video i came across
Of three young Pakistanis sharing their opinions and reactions on hearing the national anthem of Bangladesh. Many of the Bengali commentators deeply appreciated their efforts. Again my intention is not to stir hatred at eachother its just a case of curiosity perhaps.

I have mostly positive view about Pakistan.It is an important country in Muslim world as well as in south Asia. Common history and religion bind us together. Pakistan also doing a good job checking Indian arrogance.Which I like the most.

Most of the Bangladeshi people(80%) has a soft corner for Pakistan for being a muslim country despite the 1971 bitter experience.And wish to maintain a good, friendly relation.Most of the people are not amused by the Awami league's hostile gesture to Pakistan and they also did not like Pakistani negative reaction when some war criminals were hanged for their war crime or Pakistani attempt to minimize/justify the wrongdoing of Pak army in 1971.Other than this, Pakistan's reputation suffered considerably in the last few years due to continuous terrorist carnage in Pakistan. Hopefully as Pakistan is progressively stabilizing, this impression will thin out among Bangladeshi people.

The only two times the word Pakistan is mentioned is either to refer to pre 71 era Bangladesh("Pakistan amol" or Paksitani era) or cricket..most people would not be able to recognize anything about modern day Paksitan except maybe for the flag.

Strange script of the genocide story
USA, Europe, Israel and Indians are tagging us with brand name of "Terrorists or Supporter of Terrorists". If any attacks happen in any place in the world, they are tagging us with genocide of humans beings that's why we are on FATF grey list. Afghanistan is occupied by USA and NATO, afghan president is tagging us with genocide of afghani people. Some tribal elders of banned outfit organisation in Baluchistan supported by Indians are tagging us with genocide of Baluchi people and the stupid part of 4th generation warfare in East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh) is that they are tagging us with genocide of Bengali People. In Bangladeshi people points of view that Indians, Israel, USSR and USA even traitors which worked on Indian agenda in east Pakistan were war heroes and saints which fought so called war of liberation. They had done nothing except Pakistan army and know they demands apology from Pakistan on genocide. Strange script of the genocide story from "Then (1971) to Now (2018)" and its continues. Hmm not true...they have some hate due to the history but also love because of the religion. History will recede into the past with time but the religious love will stay..
