Violent protests in north Kashmir over slain Iranian commander’s poster

We know about it actually. Khomeini's ancestors lived in India for a short period but it was Uttar Pradesh as far as I know. Apparently, that part of India was called Kingdom of Awadh and it had Twelever Shiite rulers of Persian origin.

Nevertheless, I remember once I talked to a gorgeous Kashmiri girl that worked at a shop in Dubai. She loved Iranians and said that they consider us brothers and we are similar. Since then I have always felt that Kashmiris are closely linked to us.

We don't stay quiet on Kashmir. Khamenei himself urged India to refrain from violence against Kashmiris and it is quite rare for Khamenei to talk about this kind of matters, unless it pertains to the US or Israel.

On August 21 (2019), Khamenei tweeted: “We have good relations with India, but we expect the Indian government to adopt a just policy towards the noble people of Kashmir and prevent the oppression & bullying of Muslims in this region.”

Tehran’s Friday prayers leader, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi-Kermani, called revoking Kashmir’s autonomy “an ugly act” and warned India “to prevent confrontations with the Muslims” as “this is not in India’s interest or the interest of the region.”
that's why ugly indian soldiers are doing mass rapes on a consistent basis, its a literal curse for people of Kashmir, their nation is obsessed with them
I wish god made them ugly af, could have helped their situation
it was a top tweeter trend in india "marry" a Kashmiri, in their defense forums they were joking on which soldier from which region would get to f***/rape Kashmiris

A bug chunk of Kashmir is shia, for a supposed protector shia interests around the globe Iran sure stays quiet...

We do support Kashmir, but we also know what's waiting for them on the other side!
some samples:
The Indian army officer who burned down poster of Qasim Sulemani is more deserving of Vir Chakra than Abhinandan

But he might not get it while Abhinandan already has it over a fake F16 kill

What an embarrassment!!!
lol, the Kashmiri Shias are willing to put their neck on the line for an Iranian spy general rather than their basic human rights. The Sunnis on the other hand cannot even be bothered to do that.

Wdym? Whatever is waiting for them at the other side is a million times better than getting raped and killed on an industrial scale, plans of proper ethnic cleansing in order

Other side is heavenly, I am confused at what you're pointing towards?
Genuinely please elaborate
Just so you know 1/3rd of Kashmir was taken by Pak and they're insanely nationalist cause they appreciate freedom way more than rest of us
In Indian occupaid Kashmir

This is the other Pakistani side of Kashmir.

Of course extremists on different levels exist on all sides but in Indian occupied Kashmir, we are talking about an industrial scale of occupation that has existed for decades. I am sure a Kashmiri Shia would prefer living within the preamble of an independent Kashmir or within Pakistan, alongside their Sunni co-religonists, than with an occupying soldier from Tamil Nadu whose co-religionists have genocides and massacred them in recent history.

He was a Terrorists, his hands were filled with thousands of innocent Muslim blood, and just as he lived a munafiq he was killed by American forces and did Muslims a favor.

maybe they had no problem with current situation if they are left alone , and all this was to send a message . leave us alone.
by the way if you rule the hearts instead of ruling by installing fear in hearts its what you get a martyr far more dangerous than a commander.

by the way a serious question , why the officer entered the house ?
was he had any warrant to do that ?

Occupying forces don't generally need a warrant, a gun is usually enough.

Indian Army has apologized for this incident and the poster of gen Soleimani has been reinstalled.

Makes sense

He was a friend of India

Not to forget he had blood of hundreds of thousands of Muslims on his hand. That is enough reason to make him loved by India and its army

Anyone who would kill muslims would be loved by India. It is obvious

Well, first ask yourself why there is a need for Shiah protection in Pakistan!

The truth is that Salafi/Takfiri ideology (which also considers murdering Shiahs, a ticket to heaven) has rooted in Pakistan in recent decades, and it's been a systematic gesture by your governments. sometimes as a favor to US, sometimes as a favor to Saudi Arabia, and sometimes as a favor to your land dispute against India, contributing to Islamophobia in India.

I can predict your newspaper titles if you manage to join the Kashmir to Pakistan; "suicide bomb attacks in Kashmir Shiah community". "Iranian proxies who were spying for Iran were arrested by powerful ISI, they wanted to join Kashmir to Iran!", "Iranian proxies were arrested for distributing money in Kashmir religious schools", "Iranian proxies in Kshmir were arrested because of their past record of fighting against Salafis in Syria"

The soldier - not officer - who entered the house, and tore down the poster, had no business doing what he did. The problem in Kashmir is that in the name of law and order, and in the pursuit of anti-terrorism goals, unsupervised, and unsensitised soldiers are allowed to go far beyond what they would themselves tolerate in their own places of normal residence.

This is one reason why appointing a counter-insurgency specialist the chief of army staff, and then the CDS was seen by most balanced people as an act of partisan bias. The army should not be in counter-insurgency, especially when the two-and-a-half incidents that take place are so petty and trivial.
