Deck was increased on Vikramaditya(Gorshkov). this pic that i posted just to show you how aircrafts can be placed on Vikramaditya same way as shown on this pic of another AC model.

As you can see, the deck behind the island was not increased like in the model and depending on the forwarded take off position, the front deck might also not be used to park fighters.

again, that pic was not meant to show how deck was increased.

after deck was increased, aircrafts can be placed on all sides from the island.
