To be honeste ,like this facial features is very common even do not see the ones as beauty in China .Western ideas of beauty are always different than ours , I cannot make opinions much for it .

Every nation around China has a different Chinese heart,even every Chinese also has a different understanding of China ,but China is still there and will still be the China itself.
My ancestors were from Mongolia Manchuria area about 1800 years ago recognized as the ancestors of mongols and united the Northern China after the Jin Dynasty,and merged themselves into Hans' society,which could be only traced by some old genealogies.I'm now as a so-callled Han and many Chinese are just like me even uighurs,and very complex histories.
As I know the beginer of Vitenam was from western China and Northern Vitenam was always a part of China before Qing Dynasty.If you are a northern vietnamese,I could even call you a Han according to the example of mine.I don't know whether you would agree with me,but that's what is China,whatever.

We've fought very hard to survive since we got independence in 10 century when China kneed down to many barbarian like Mongol-Manchus to save their lives.

So, we have a quite different education. VNese r taught to be nice-friendly but never give up fighting against any enemies, no matter how strong the enemy is when it seems like Chinese r taught to bully smaller neighbours but bow down to stronger enemy

I'm not quite agree with you but I would like say that we are so deeply influenced by the tide of earning money that even educated to do anything forward money. Really miss the times,the old told stories,the chirdren were palying ,under huge roadside trees, in narrow streets,daylight came to its end.
