Vietnam protests China's military exercise in South China Sea

China being a big country in Asia should at least give other smaller country respect if they don't want those country to fall into the arms of the West/US.

Currently, China has no friends. Everyone around the world have negative views of China.

Can US show Iraq and Iran with some respect?

Instead of attacking the OP with personal attacks, how about for once (take note China strong!!!! parties) , comment and discuss the merits of the article posted?

Well it is called the South CHINA Sea for a reason. Besides if the government continues to do nothing it will be seen as weak by the civilians (who already see them as weak any ways).

Seriously? Indian Ocean has the word "Indian" in it. That doesnt make the ocean India's sole domain, and China is constantly trying to force its way into the IOR.

You know, what is wrong with these Indians. No Chinese members posts endless streams of negative news on the India forum. This is kind of annoying.

These indians are obsssed jeolous of china success, the only thing make them feel good is to post article like this, but we chinese is far more educated than them indians thts why we dont post threads to rubbish other nations like them , after all we dont want to get down to their level do we?

I hope you are not actually stating that because its called the South China sea it is under the sovereignty of China. Are Chinatowns under the sovereignty of China too?

A name has nothing to do with the sea's status.

It's fine to post negative articles about China and Pakistan but if he spams those (+ spams positive Indian articles), the mods should do something about it.

so true this guy veeru should be banned.

i dont see how it goes against that, from the stated bullets, the only one that concerns this exercise is "notifying, on a voluntary basis, other Parties concerned of any impending joint/combined military exercise" clearly Vietnam knows and we're not keeping it a secret.

Was Vietnam or any other country notified beforehand of the impending military exercise? I didn't find that in the original article, neither does it imply that Vietnam knew beforehand.
The Parties undertake to exercise self-restraint in the conduct of activities that would complicate or escalate disputes and affect peace and stability
This above is an important point, isn't it?

You guys should stop generalizing I rarely post anything ''anti-China'', I simply dont care about China that much. The posters that consistently posts anti-India,China,Pakistan just ignore or block them. They care to much about your nation.

I am so scared. What happens if viets invade our country, take our land and rule our people?
Wait a second, Vietnam? Is that the backwards communist country with a shitty 1000 USD GDP per capita?
Ah, we can take their capital within days, like what we did 30 years ago.
