Pakistan said they will use Nasr tactical warheads, if India implements Cold Start in a response to another attack on Mumbai.

India's nuclear doctrine means that any nuclear strike (including Nasr) will trigger an all-out nuclear response from the Indian side, leading to the meltdown of the subcontinent.

Do you think the Congress party would dare to even envision such a scenario?

What has congress party to do with the Military? An act of War does not need a home ministries approval , President of India gives a go, Bureaucrats and Diplomats do not even get to sign the papers issued from Strategic command for such a matter. So why bother at all?

Was the British grabbing the Falklands from the rightful Argentinians? Why does no one care about those rules then?

Argentinians can complain about it if they feel like Vietnam, South Korea, Philippines are doing against you

Copy Paste Champ.. You are only repeating your self.. Stop acting as a clown will you?

Not only Nuclear wise conventionally Russia matches China in Ground forces department..... PLA- Army has more men but Russian have more equipment..... and they are technically ahead in most of the department.........economy does not determine the military strength..... If that were the case then Japan would be matching China and Pakistan/North Korea would match Bangladesh.

China still has to go miles before reaching the status which Russia has in Military power....... Its the Russian help which has helped China Military to grow at such a faster rate...... along with your hard work but the Catalyst factor of Russian technology transfer and Reverse engineering can't be denied.

Russia still has serious military and diplomatic power, more so than China does.

China's advantage now, is that our economy is four times larger than the Russian one. Our continued economic growth will fuel our military and diplomatic strength, but we still have a long way to go before we can catch up in those two fields.

Nah, It seems the more corrupt you are in India the more powerful you get

And who is that powerful person here in India....... power comes with people but if you turn corrupt you are thrown out of power by the People.....
......Its not China that Nehru or Indira would rule India continuously and do whatever they want till their death.

Rule to their deaths? Hu Jin Tao is stepping down in less than a year.

"Large marching Indian infantry" LOL. Still using British continental methods of war I see.

I hope you are not speaking to me in French or Deutsch ... Its English If I aint wrong. So your point is?

you chinese still don't get it do you??? militarily we can but its not up to the military its up to the gov't don't criticize the military for the gov'ts incompetence

yes they do and we are building our own ABM system there is a thread somewhere on Indian defense talking about missile protection go give it a read ;)

Why do we even need to take any action militarily? We have seen a lot of actions post Mumbai attacks with lots of Pakistani assets being caught world-wide. even US, UK is working in closing all the ISI front offices in US & UK. Also at times its good to go covertly like returning the favor in the same manner than to go all out militarily

It wasn't as large as China who were using human wave attacks back then in 1967...... when outnumbered Indian troops faught bravely and recaptured the lost peaks..... 1987 was different..... India was faster in deployment and China backed off even when they saw India soldiers on their positions without a fight...... hence the Indian soldiers also returned..... they couldn't die starving on those barren Tibet lands.

Generally human wave attacks against fortified positions would cause a disproportionate amount of casualties for the attacking side. Why was this not the case for the Sino Indian War?

I mean even a pretty inept soldier would manage to kill a person in a wave at least once right?

What about Mao and Others two who followed him...... atleast we have a choice we can kick the *** of our government unlike China where Government kicks the *** of people by running tanks on them..... and still remain in power..... Here governments fall even on Lathi charges i.e. use of stick by police on people.
