Vietnam first metro to operate commercially by year-end (built by China)

China is aggressor, China invaded and taken Vietnam Islands with Force. Map of China is here.

Ok back to metro.

Vietnam government said "Transport Ministry are guilty" for Hanoi metro delay.

Why is GoV attacking GoV? The reason is part of GoV such as Ministry of Transport has developed warlordism, or declared de facto independence from the higher authorities.

The no longer heed the leaders, which is now controlled by Northern Factions.

They only follow the orders of Southern Faction.

Also I urge PDF members to empathized Vietnam more. We are having a difficult situation.

***************************

The Ministry of Transport's mismanagement in allowing piecemeal work has resulted in ballooning costs and prolonged delays, state auditors say.

The ministry (MoT) permitted contractors to make technical designs for each section of Hanoi’s Cat Linh – Ha Dong metro line separately as the line was being constructed, causing piecemeal work, delays, and quality risks, says Deputy State Auditor General Doan Xuan Tien.

The MoT also failed to evaluate all technical aspects of the project, causing planning to be changed multiple times. Furthermore, it conducted land clearance and handovers at a sluggish pace, slowing down the metro line, said Tran Hai Dong, head of the auditing team for the project.

"In the process of setting up the metro project, all phases from getting consensus on architectural plans, approving changes, clearing and handing over land, were delayed by 1-5 months. The delays caused labour and material costs to soar," Dong said.

The State Audit agency also found that investors had not factored in operating costs, which would account for a large proportion of costs once the metro service began operation, in its financial evaluations. This resulted in an incorrect financial appraisal of the project and its costs, he added.

The Southern Factions need to be purged.

Don't talking like idiot, uneduceted kid here on this forum

All south Vietnamese is came from North from may centuries.

Before taken the leadership in Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh, Le Duan, Pham Van Dong is from South Vietnam.

.
PM Phan Van Dong, the closest aide of Uncle Ho Chi Minh infer Spratly and Paracel belongs to China.

Unfortunately Le Duan reverse it.

Most Vietnamese do not know the history.

**********
China has produced a letter written by North Vietnam’s former Prime Minister Pham Van Dong in 1958 as proof that it holds sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly islands;

congthu_pjkt.jpg
Okay.then post it on Facebook and show us, will u ??

.
China may just ended up paying 40% of the metro as a gift to Vietnam.

As far as I know, a lot of monies was embezzled by the Southern faction officials. While taking the monies, these idiots from the Southern faction keep blaming China for project delay.

Then Southern faction stir up trouble with China in South China Sea.

The Northern faction try save the situation now.
Not gifts I wonder where you get the info. No we pay full.
Chinese constructed metro goes faster because it runs on the ground, while other rails are built underneath like the Hanoi subway.

Thats why Indonesia proceed with the Japan assistance for metro project, the reason is very clear.
You can see at least three different radius of curvature. One is very near to us, the other is in the middle and the 3rd one is beyond that. I am talking about the middle curve, it is not only very sharp, but is also without a SUPERELEVATION. The outer line should be a little higher than the inner line. This is absent here.

See the photograph below to know about it. It is the difference between two elevations of a road or a railway, and the photo below shows it perfectly. One edge is elevated comparing to other edge. Why super elevation? It is because the train will derail because of centrifugal force without a properly calculated super elevation, e. I also do not like the look of the entire route. Looks very poor.

Vietnam should have sought help from Japan as Indonesia did. The Japanese are very meticulous. Engineers would always do works perfectly.

.
They did and the project started 2007 way earlier than China Hanoi metro. It wont come online until 2030, as per my estimate.

Freedom Fighter @Song Hong, do you mean there is another metrorail project undertaken by Japan? Why it is so delayed? Once in operation, you will see the difference between the two lines, Chinese and Japanese.

I have also noted the cheap plastic seats in the China supplied trains. Japan is a nation that will never try to get a cheap contract by lowering the standard of a project it builds. The cost is high and Japan will do such projects only if the host country accepts its high-cost of building one.

China is no match to Japan.

lol. Suckers like you are the reason Japan even gets these contracts at all. Basically Japan preys on people who look at shit like seat covers instead of engineering criterion and cost effectiveness.

Ask any of your Chinese relatives working in Japanese restaurants what is the quality of entire Japanese living standard and what a train seat is. Do not please blabber---- on things that you are unable to understand. Japan is in a different league. However you try, China will not reach the same living standard as Japan in the next thousand years. Forget about the great Chinese past.

I am so fond of reading Chinese history and watching Chinese historical drama series. Modern age is different and Japan has curbed out its place by working hard for about the last 150 years. I have been to China and I can tell China is no match to Japan.

Lol at trying to be all high and mighty with me. Why don't you ask your relatives working as slaves for Gulf Arabs what they think about this? If Japan was so great where are their mobile companies, software companies? Does Japan have 14 nm semiconductor foundries?

Please do not blabber on things you don't understand.

Yup I'd pick Japan each time, always. They also actually genuinely do quality knowhow-transfer...just look at their industrial zone projects in India starting in 70s/80s (later koreans also came and added).

Both Japan and Korea work a lot more heritage wise with western system and also understand their domestic populations are relatively finite in scale....so they are much more willing to trade and transfer stuff to more countries to build up their industry long term....and also give good quality product if its simple trade only. No short-changing cheapo nonsense like you get from CHN so much of time.

I really don't see a difference between Chinese and Japanese HSR tbh ... I've ridden on both. More or less the same. I don't claim to be an expert though but from a comfort standpoint I didn't see anything inferior to the Chinese one versus the Japanese one (although the Japanese one was older IIRC). It is true the Japanese had this technology quite a long time ago but the Chinese have caught up remarkably fast.

Really? This is surprising because I've been to both countries as well. Shanghai is probably one of the most advanced cities in the world, alongside Tokyo and Singapore. I recall going on top of the Shanghai Tower in 2018 ... the skyline was truly a sight to behold. If anything, more American expats live in China more so than Japan and they've said some really good things about living there (besides the obvious government restrictions).

there's alot of Japan worship among non-Chinese/Korean Asians. many Americans don't think about this outside the context of black/white but race/ethnicity is THE issue in Asia. Look at all the hate between Pakistanis and Indians. Did you know that the previous Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was actually born in Pakistan (Gah, Punjab) while his contemporary Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf was born in India (New Delhi). This wasn't ancient history either, this is like... 2008. This is just the most extreme example but smaller ones abound.

Some people will hate Chinese technology because it's Chinese. Simple as that. It could be the best technology in the world. It could make their lives 100x easier. They simply won't buy it because it's Chinese. In fact it makes them more angry that it's good technology because it disrupts their way of thinking. They'll actively spread lies about it on social media to try and stop people from buying it. If it's Japanese? They'll buy it. It could be the biggest piece of shit in the world. But if it's Japanese they buy. Simple as that.
