As we received in F16 sensors included Northrop Grumman mechanically-scanned APG-68(V)9 radars and ITT ALQ-211(V)9 advanced integrated defensive electronic warfare suites (AIDEWS) without digital radio frequency memory. The proposed weapons package included an order for 500 Raytheon AIM-120C5 advanced medium range air to air missiles, 200 Raytheon AIM-9M-8/9 Sidewinders, 500 Boeing joint direct attack munitions, 1,600 enhanced GBU-12/24 laser-guided bombs and 700 BLU-109 penetrator bombs.

Should we asked US as a ally to give us same technology with TOT for our JF 17 or any equal configuration radar along with AIDEWS or help us to build the same in next 2 to 3 years as we already give insurance for that package.

By this demand we can also check how US ally to us as she currently said so that we will set long term relationship with Pakistan

Really? :woot:

What if she reciprocate the same wish list of do more alongwith permanant Air Base?:woot:

No those items are for out F16 C/D planes and Pakistan values its contractual commitments since 80's

Our Thunders are fine things are going well we just need to pull some strings ;)

We have enough diplomatic initiatives in place with

a) China
b) France
c) Italy
d) Sweeden

We are just waiting for MRCA to clear up so we can move ahead with Block 2 Production annoucement and 4.5 generation planes for PAF

I don't know what you guys are worrying about. The United States has shifted its strategic position again now that Russia is competing for India and that China has surrendered on the currency and possibly Iran issue.

It's all about diplomacy. The United States liked the way India doesn't stand up for its energy demands and now that China's on the same boat, things are going to normalize. Russia on the other hand, seeks all sorts of joint projects with India, while withholding much of the core technology. It's back to the old days...

1) re-read

2) It means the United States can cut off India's oil with one phone call. (except Russia)

3) There is a reason why it's called "MKI."
