US secretary of state set to outline post-deal strategy on Iran

Bro , Iran has 1% of the world's population but when it comes to resources ... !

I just mentioned an example of an economic power to humbly remind you what an economic power is . And another example to again show you how such crimes are dealt with in a rich country . That's all .

I don't think I ever mentioned Hijab , guidance patrol etc .

Your focused on the wrong things corruption just doesn't effect Iran's GDP by all that much!

Today Iran is loosing upwards of $20 Billion USD a year in direct foreign currency from a lack of a proper Tourism Industry with 2ndary effects that go almost as high as $50 Billion USD a year

Today almost every Iranian home has a Sat Dish which means Iran is loosing control of it's marketing capabilities inside it's own country and marketing effects everything

So while these things are happening corruption is irrelevant

Free press is nothing but a DELUSION! I've lived in the U.S. and I can promise you there is NO SUCH THING!

Iran's main problem right now is it's economy! Again I ask how much money do you think Iran can add to it's $450 Billion USD GDP(Nominal) by wiping out government corruption?
1st go check how much revenue Iran brings in from Oil, then go deduct what you think the actual net profit of that will be then go deduct what Iran hands out to it's population....

fact is whether that cash goes to this guys or that guy doesn't much effect Iran's GDP in any meaningful way! And lets say $1 Billion USD gets stolen every year in a $450 Billion USD economy that is not going to make or break Iran!
US is not a good example to follow, North-west Europe has better standards.
We have all kind of indications like ease of doing business index, corruption index, transparency index which show weak performance of Iran. It's the government which has made the country like this. If you think bringing damage to the country and economy means only stealing few billions a year then you're wrong. Main damage is caused by wrong management, laws, politics in the country and that is something which costs Iran x00 billions. The government, leader is responsible.

Curroption has literally roots in everythibg in Iran . It's not supposed to be just financial curroption man .

The biggest issue facing Iran is the economy! Who cares if this guy gets a free get out jail card for some white color crime or if some cop gets a bribe to let a few kids party.....

Economy 1st and only after the economy if fixed then we can worry about funding yet another government organization whos main job is corruption, white color crimes,.... funded using government taxes & fees coming out of a healthy economy!

But until then worrying about corruption is nothing more than a distraction from the main issues facing Iran!

And in terms of the economy corruption wouldn't even make the list of the top 10 things that are wrong in Iran's economy!

Mate ,

You misunderstand the definition of curroption . For instance what our government is doing to our economy is the worst . Insane rate of importing from China and Turkey while we all know it just cripples local economy is the worst kind of curroption .

The IR is powerful and precise enough to prevent a suicide belt to enter Iran but how on earth are they unable to stop trafficking goods etc that is directly hitting our industry and producers ?

I reckon this is the worst type of curroption within the IR to know what is destroying you from inside but turn a blind eye on it .

What comes to my mind is that , either there are powerful and influencial mafias in the Islamic Republic that is behind all these self destruction policies or the Islamic Republic has turned itself into a client state of China , Russia and to some extend Turkey , meaning that they have to trade like this with mentioned states to sell oil and gain their support against the West , which is at the end of the day disastrous because they are sacrifcing Iranians for their agenda .

That's not corruption! By the most part that's your own personal misunderstanding of how business is done!

If finished Iranian products can't even compete in the Iranian market against Turkish or Chinese products the main problem there is the factories producing those products not the people importing Turkish and Chinese goods!

The roots cause of the problem is domestic and can be found inside Iranian factories! Ether due to a lack of quality or you producing products using outdated equipment that requires more manpower or your products uses an outdated design or is produced in insufficient quantity or your overcharging or some other reason
Another problem here is a lack of proper marketing too!

If an Iranian Tire company is being put out of business the problem is NOT that there are other products on the market the problem is with the Tire company! Because either your overcharging OR producing low quality products OR Your not marketing it properly!
If you can prove that your tires are of a higher quality and sold at a lower cost then market it properly to the people! If you do that it wouldn't matter how much pull the head of Iran Khodro has people will as ask the right questions and heads will turn EVEN IN IRAN!

Corruption is the no. 1 enemy ,till you fix that there is no hope fixing anything else.

WRONG! Corruption is a constant in every major economy in the world! IT DOES NOT GO AWAY and It DOES NOT effect Iran's GDP in any meaningful way!

And there is a direct cause and effect correlation with the level of corruption and your GDP Per Capita (Nominal)
If the level of corruption in Iran is high it's mainly because Iran is ranked 90th in the world in terms of GDP Per Capita (nominal) 90TH

When a police officer in Iran has to live off of under $6,000 a year what choice does he have?
People think the Cops in the U.S. can't be corrupted but the truth is they are making OVER $45,000 a year so it's not that they can't be corrupted it just means it would require a lot more than most people have to get them to accept a bribe because their government checks are sufficient enough not to take that risk! And the reason their checks are sufficient is because the U.S. has a healthy economy and using taxes they can afford to pay a sufficient salary!

You wanna reduce corruption levels in Iran! Sure, that's a good thing but the best way to do that is to fix the economy 1st NOT THE OTHER WAY ARROUND!

Higher than normal corruption levels are symptom of an unhealthy economy NOT the cause!

you can fix economy as much as you like if you don't fix corruption first , there are some people to stole all the money and destroy all your fix

High corruption levels are a symptom of an unhealthy economy NOT THE CAUS OF IT and if all your doing is attacking the symptom NOTHING will change! Now that doesn't mean you don't fight corruption but if your ONLY fighting corruption then most people out of necessity will simply adapt to the new laws and organizations created to fight corruption! Which means you end up spending millions of dollars to fight corruption and the only actual thing you achieve is that you force people to adapted to new methods using new tools to conduct business!

So fixing corruption 1st doesn't help with anything! You have to 1st fix the economy and when people have too much to lose then an Iranian police officer wouldn't risk his well paying job over chump change and his commanders would risk having corrupt cops on there force and so on and so forth.
And yes you have to fight corruption as well but until you fix the economy simply fighting corruption is nothing but a futile exercise. And fighting corruption doesn't increase you GDP by any meaningful way!

Today almost every Iranian household has a Sat Dish that means Iran is loosing control over the most powerful marketing tool inside our own country! Sadly a lot of Iranian officials don't seem to comprehend what a risk that is!
And fighting Sat Dishes by simply taking down dishes from people's roof's is FUTILE it hasn't worked for the past 2 decades and it won't work in the future! And the only way to fight that is to have Iranian channels broadcasted from Iran that will put Farsi speaking channels broadcasted outside Iran out of business!

Today a lack of a proper tourist industry is destroying Iran's economy and yet it's fix remains to be quite simple and all they have to do relax religious policies in no more than 10 Cities in Iran in areas that have a population of under 1 Million people with high tourist potential with simple investment in construction
And yet some of our officials and some our people are so blind that they would rather see Iran burn than to ever allow a single location in Iran to be free of hejab by force.

And while these things are happening corruption becomes irrelevant to Iran's GDP growth
