In recent years, Israel has carried out various modifications to the Patriot system in order to enhance its effectiveness.
Today the Israeli Air Defense Command operates MIM-104D Patriot (PAC-2/GEM+) batteries with Israeli upgrades.

I think the USA-NATO has been warning Turkey to not support any group in ME earlier. But I think they are not listening to this any more. I think that Turkey might be paid to leave the F-35 program as well. And may be Turkey might the country who will sell off all the F-16s in coming 5-10 years time. And may make up a deal with China as its new ally in the region.

Patriots are not just anti missile weapons they are also anti aircraft. If by accident any Russian plane gets shot down by some gung ho american or turkish soldier then the effects of that decision could be wide spread and uncontrollable. Drawing first blood could very well be the last nail in them arming terrorists.

Say what? The U.S. built the Patriots and sold to Israel and it still operates what it suppose to do. The U.S. has since upgraded to be able to take on ballistic missiles which is an additional benefit especially with the proliferation of ballistic missiles these days. Saudi Arabia recently used the Patriots to shoot down ballistic missiles launched from Yemen. Israel used theirs to shoot down aircraft and uavs. I don't see any problems. No different than the U.S. Navy modifying SM-6 missiles to take down ballistic missiles besides cruise missiles and aircraft.

well nobody say the missile won't work . we say the missiles of 20+ years ago have problem and must be upgraded , ksa have upgraded batteries and Israel upgraded its missile but the one were in turkey were old and nobody have upgraded them.

The us and Germany are pulling missiles out of turkey because when turkey breaks up and descends into civil war, they don't want advanced anti aircraft missiles falling into the hands of rogue elements. USA will probably pull their nukes out soon

Well given how the Syria situation goes, the government-Kurd thing, etc., it just so complicated. Have the Americans chosen a side(s) now?
