This circus is going on since last 5 decades... this is America who will decide.. whether US need Pakistan or not because... Pakistan has many parallel where as US don't have any .... a country where US actually now a days busy in Japi&Papi not going to help US much because she has barriers from all side (China, Pakistan now Nepal and Srilanka already show strong reservations against that state). Pakistan has many options but US has none? In any sane platform you would be laughed out of the room. To start with what about all of your ME allies? What about almost all of Europe? What about ASEAN countries? What about India? SL and Nepal would give an arm and a half to gain US support and SL infact is doing exactly that

That may be so but containment is easy. China keeps India busy with Pakistan - country many numbers smaller, If containment is all that is needed India can keep China tied up by behaving as Pakistan does for centuries.

It is another matter India is not interested in being a US proxy like you were for US against USSR. We have good economic ties with China, there have been no active crossfire for years, incursions on both sides are taken care of through well established local channels. India keeps all it's options open, our front end systems are mostly Russian and Israeli, support systems Americans and all are projected to be replaced by local systems. We don't have any defence alliance with US or any other country leaving us free to chart our own course.

Where as Pakistan will collapse if tomorrow China, Arabs and US led institutions stop feeding it money.

I know you guys like going ga ga in your delusions but sometimes reality check is a good thing.

AS much as you like to express your own thoughts and wishes, the reality is somewhat different to what you would have us believe.
Just to give you an idea, Pakistan also figured prominently before Obama took to the White House, in fact he's on record for saying he would attack Pakistan if he becomes President.....now he is the ardent supporter of these F-16s for Pakistan.....obviously India or rather Indians get all exited when some speak against Pakistan ....but who has the last laugh.....i guess Indians never learn.
