US CENTCOM Commander held important meeting with Pakistan Army Chief at GHQ

. .
The real messaging will be when Pakistan test-fires a shaheen-III missile which flies over India and lands at Andaman Sea a few nautical miles away from Port Blair. This WILL make India back off.

Yeah except the deluded folk over there will get scared like hell and push the Red button and there will no longer be a sub continent?

RAWALPINDI:US CENTCOM Commander held important meeting with Pakistan Army Chief at GHQ.

The inncoming commander of the United States Central Command (US CENTCOM) called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday, the ISPR said.

PM Imran Khan mocks Indian PM Modi after his lies exposed badly
General Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr. took over as head of the US CENTCOM last month after Gen. Joseph Votel's retirement.

According to a press statement from the military's media wing, the two top commanders discussed the geo-strategic environment and regional security.

PM Imran Khan announces unprecedented 10 years development package for tribal districts
The discussion included Afghanistan and the recent standoff between the Pakistani and Indian militaries.

The meeting comes as Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the country had "reliable intelligence" that India was preparing for yet another act of aggression against Pakistan.
Is it me or has anyone else noticed that everytime there are talks of Indian misadventure, some American is here in Pakistan. I mean seriously why do we need to entertain these guys? Are they here to tell us to give India a face saving and this time do not respond?

Well, he is here on his new appointment and also to discuss about the safe withdrawal of USA. Rest assured no compromises are being made and it has been conveyed to them in unambiguous terms that Pakistan will respond to any aggression with all options at its disposal.

The meeting between US CENTCOM chief and COAS has nothing to do with India and everything to do with Afghanistan. Yes, I'm sure Pakistan will bring up India in discussions but it's a secondary issue compared to Afghanistan. Both Pakistan and US are keen on achieving peace in Afghanistan and seeing all foreign forces depart.

Besides, when did US ever entertain Pakistan's concerns about India, whether it be Kashmir or other issues?

@IceCold is talking about face saving for indians the new geopolitical friends.

Not discussing about US siding with us on Kashmir’s issue.

Sure Afghanistan is the main point for USA. But, hey, the current tensions between our country and India could have potential side effects on afghanexit.

Us centcom had so much of its regional hopes on India to deliver. On Afghanistan to China and Pakistan

But on that fateful February cold day it went bad for them all. Mr centcom is left now wondering what could have been with this Pakistan.

Disagreed, India is desperate and is looking for some face saving. Indian desperation is apparent from the web of lies it has tried to weave since Feb 14, 2019 but did not find many takers and that compounded the desperation.

Which is exactly what India wants and US fears. Nevertheless, it's in Pakistan's interests to bring peace in Afghanistan regardless of what India is trying to do. Once Afghanistan is settled, Pakistan can focus on India. The only problem I see is Iran, they are the wild card in this scenario. Yes, they want to see US leave Afghanistan but doesn't see eye-to-eye with Pakistan. Plus, there's the issue of India-Iran cooperation in the region.

India doesn't care about world opinion about Balakot attack, it was exclusively for domestic consumption, and to boost BJP prospects in forthcoming elections. BJP had no choice but to attack Pakistan, not to teach it a lesson, but satisfy its hardcore supporters. Need to after years of anti-Pakistan rhetoric by Modi.

I agree that not many countries took India's claims seriously but neither did they listen to Pakistan either.

I do agree it was for domestic consumption but still the international media has very openly exposed the lies concocted by BJP + Indian military establishment since Feb 26. Not a single independent famous international news outlet accepted Indian claims of the strike and killing of 350-600 "terrorists" ...later even BJPs MLA confirmed it was not aimed to kill anyone :) and definitely that affected the morale of the extremist BJP supporters.
Let's say for arguments sake, I believe you that Indian plan was not to destroy target but just claim a strike to help Modi divert attention from the economic and other unfilled promises to Indian victory against Pakistan but what they did not expect what happened on Feb 27 in response to their "unharmful" strike. Definitely, the downing of Indian A/Cs and capture of Abhi Nandan and ensuing media coverage definitely dealt a huge blow to Modi's campaign and shattered many idols and myths not in minds of both the international community and Indian masses (especially the BJP supporters). And since then despite a lot of propaganda by your media, Modi has not been able to garner the support he wants... and that response from Pakistan has downed the morale of IAF and the military overall.
Listen we do not want to harm India or normal Indian people and we have shown a lot of restrain but any aggression will be retaliated with full might and this time there will be no restraint without caring too much for the consequences but again I reiterate, we want peace.
