US cannot counter China in Asia without India's support: MK Narayanan

My comment was a general one, based on my love for our Ohio Class subs. Not specifically about having them in the Indian Ocean. Those subs are deep beneath the depths almost every ocean.

Don't miss the window of opportunity or you guy will regret it. Bring more your navy into Indian Ocean you not only can contain China but check India at the same time, one stone two bird , even as chinese we made such generious offer why refuse it?

I :smitten:Ohio Class Subs. I sleep better at night knowing they're out there acting as a powerful deterrence.
USN docked in Andamans .....sounds great.....

Hyper Commie at best. Do not bite more than you can chew.

MMMM not gonna happen. No no.:disagree:

They can dock in Diego Garcia if they want, but not in AN.
lot of things going on between India and other nations like israel and US....that do not come out in open....and by docking.....i mean we dont provide permanent base to USN .....its mutual.....our ships can refuel and dock at US naval bases too.

Ok.. I'm trying to understand your double meaning here. You want us there to watch over India? Or am I reading that double meaning wrong. India is a sovereign country with its own navy.

:agree:

Sure India can do alot of jack$hit to other Asian nations due to your geographical advantage but not with China as i have elaborated on other thread, Tibet is China's blessing and a curse to India in term of Geostrategic and well positionned to counter all India advantage on IOR: all your vital cities are within our cheap rocket and artillery, your entire navy in under DF-21D coverage and New Dehli is also at our mercy while you need to rely on your Agni 5 to reach our coastal cities.

And of course I have forgot the famous "water issue" to deal with India

Do more, talk less @kurup

Dude please don't tag me because you got the time to write elaborate verbal diarrhea .

Tag when your country actually find the b@lls to do even 1% of what you bragged about .

Other than I can't find anything substance in your post other than usual chinese bragging .

So do more , talk less

and tag when CCP find it's balls

and it rhymes too ....

That is a very "Be my daddy" comment. One would have expected a more balanced statement from a former diplomat coming from the country known for its balanced poise within its region.

I wonder what part of his body did he use to come with this speech when he is self contradicting himself

He said India does not want to see itself as a nation seeking to contain China individually or in association with the United States in the region.

so he doesnt want India to be seen confronting china alone or together with USA

BUT
he finds it essential to let USA know that it has no chance to succeed unless it seeks the help of India in this regard.

Unless you are trying to start a Nuke holocaust, your DF are nothing but costly fireworks kept under maximum security.

Where does Tibet come into the picture, I'm talking about a naval blockade which could cripple Chinese economy if successful. Don't bring up Tibet unless there is some secret trade route which India uses for trade and which accounts for major part of our trade.

How does one counter India's advantage of IO in Tibet?

Agni V works just fine.

What water issues, please elaborate keeping in mind an important term called 'Physics' and "Gravity" in particular.:agree:

Why we need nuke for India, this is like kill a fly with canon when we have more cost effective way to deal with it.? and we're willing to take our chance with a couple millions dollards DF against hundred millions high value Indian destroyer and billion worthed carry such as your Viky.

You see you problem when you talk about bragging of naval blockade wich can cripple our economy and refuse to think that we can equally cripple entire Indian economy by having a turkey shoot on any Indian economy infrastructure with our short and long range artillery from Tibet especially when we're at the hill. My poin is : Without Tibet China is really condamned to live for ever at the mercy of India for the naval blockade but reversely with Tibet, you're totally at our mercy include your navy.

Now logistical support agreement etc makes sense....soon waters around Andaman nicobar island...will be smarmed with Ohio class submarines.

US Navy already dominate the Indian Ocean. What neocons in WAshington want is naval bases or listening posts in India.

The part is bold is so hilarious. I know what you are thinking, this is so like 'Pakistani', right? It reminds me of 80's era chest thumping by Pakistanis. US can't win against USSR alone, they need help of Pakistan. Blah Blah Blah
Funny:rofl:

I do not understand this, Chinese friend here are jumping up and down claiming on every thread that they will be here in IOR and we can't do jack$h!t?

I request all those people to have a look at geography of Malacca strait and it's distance from Car Nicobar, And also the plans for arming that Nicobar territory. After studying defensive strategies of India there, can anybody tell me how would any enemy ship, be it surface or underwater can come into IOR without IN allowing it?

IN just has to look over 90 odd kms of water and defend it in any case of confrontation. That Malacca strait is jugular vein of all East bound trade And India has control over it. I do not see any reason for Chinese friends to go hyper about adventuring in IOR, unless they are planning to enter from east i.e. from Pacific to Tasman sea and then to IOR which also would not be easy because they would have to face Aussie first and then USN near Diego Garcia.

The Malacca strait is now control by the USN through task force 73 located in Singapore. We are ensuring freedom of sealanes and this deployment is one of the few overseas presence I believe we should have, alone with our presence in Hormuz.

So according to you, PLA would be counting on ballistic missiles to target high value target inside India?

Hehehehe :rofl: Go and read about BMD that currently India has. Only 3 other countries i.e. US, Russia, and Israel has such technology to fu@k ballistic missiles. China has no such defense against Indian ballistic missiles, be it million dollar or 100 million dollar.

You see my point?
India can defend itself against Chinese ballistic missiles, while China can't. :enjoy:

So much for your brilliant plan.:partay:

You read my post wrong again, I only partially mentioned DF-21 against your Indian high value navy and not any target inside India. And sure you're bragging your BMD as defense but there again how effective you can intercept DF is another story.

Effectiveness is 99.7%. Whereas you do not have anything of that sort. And naval version would be in service real soon.

For further knowledge refer Wiki or any other credible source. I'm not here to educate you.

LOL ok I believe you :lol::lol:..might as well give up
