I don't eat beef but for fcuk sakes Mr Modi, let people eat what they want to. If you don't eat beef because of religious or health reasons, it doesn't mean that India should stop the export of beef. There are millions of Christian and Muslim businessmen in India. Let them conduct the business of exporting beef or meat if it offends yours and your Hindu sensitivity

We have tons and tons of beef roaming wildly around. Perhaps it is time to start roping the cattle for export. We no longer are an agrarian society living under the rule of Maharajas or Mughal emperors. If you want progress you can't have cattle roaming wildly on your streets

Oh really? Those tons and tons of beef are the only source of livelihood of millions of people of India. Their dung is the only source of fuel and fertilizers for millions of Indians. Cattles are the more cost effective way of enriching soil and farming. 55% of India is still involved in agriculture in case you did not notice. India is fertile land not because of urea and other fertilizers it imports but because of the cattle it has.

Not a single guru in India has been convicted of child rape. Talk about it when you get a conviction. On the other hand there are plenty of Christian beef eating priests in India who have been involved in a lot of sexual scandals.

Actually most religious Hindus do not drink either, nor are they wife beaters. It is prominently a trait of atheists and Westerners.

As explained it is about how useful they are to the society. Cattle by their very productive nature are intrinsic to an agrarian society like India. Just like you are expected to be grateful to your parents for all the sacrifices they have done in bringing you up, our culture teaches us to be grateful to the cattle which has enabled our civilizations. Chickens and Goats unfortunately for them have not the same status as cattle. Kapish?
