I also can't imagine how or why the UK would put its neck on the line for Ukraine. Its one thing if it's say Norway or Iceland (geographic proximity to the Isles) but unless the US is clear on its intent to confront the Russians in their backyard I can't see the UK or anybody else for that matter stepping up to back Ukraine on their own. It will be a Georgia or Crimea all over again.

But there are some desperate trying to save face for his thick skin by keep denying the truth. While still keep blowing the trumpet of might Royal armed forces.

RC-135 Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft is on patrol over Crimea as we speak which took off from Cyprus
