TEHRAN: The UAE Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, yesterday inaugurated the new UAE embassy building in Tehran in the presence of his Iranian counterpart, Mohammed Javad Zarif.
They were received by the UAE Ambassador, Saif Mohammed Obaid Al Za’abi, and embassy staff. Sheikh Abdullah also hoisted the UAE flag on the building.
Earlier, he held talks with Zarif and stressed that the UAE-Iranian relations are historic and based on mutual respect, good neighbourliness and cooperation to ensure security and stability in the region under the leadership in both countries.
