ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and apprised him about the prevailing situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), ARY News reported on Sunday.

During the telephonic conversation today, Turkish president expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation in the occupied Kashmir.

PM Khan reiterated that Pakistan would continue it’s diplomatic, moral and political support to the cause of Kashmiri struggle for their right to self-determination, as enshrined in the United Nations Security Council resolutions.

PM Khan regretted doing away with Kashmir’s special status is a breach of international conventions and will play havoc with regional peace.

Turkish president assured Pakistan about every possible support over the recent deteriorating situation in occupied Kashmir.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan made a telephonic call to his Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Muhammad and had a detailed discussion on the prevailing situation in India Occupied Kashmir with him.

The Malaysian prime minister said his country is keeping an eye on the situation in IOK.

Earlier today, India scraped Article 370 of its constitution, doing away with the special status of Kashmir.

Indian President Ram Nath Kovind signed a bill to remove Article 370 from the Indian constitution.

India’s BJP government moved the bill in the upper house of the parliament (Rajaya Sabha) seeking to remove Article 370 from the Indian constitution about the special status of Kashmir.

Home Minister Amit Shah tabled the bill in the parliament amid opposition members protest.

You see this is the problem with Pakistanis dont expect Erdogan,Xi,MBS,or Mahitir to take action statements come here and there I am not saying they are not our friends or allies but they got their own interests we on our own only action has to be done by us and our leaders

Agreed, we should apprise them for diplomatic support internationally and just to get the message out there. But only one who would want to take practical action would be us.

This is the truth. We can support you in international area... We can give you weapons as much as you need but in the end this weapons will used by Pakistani soldiers. If you really want to have Kashmir the only solution is brutal strength. All this statements will not gonna give you the Kashmir.

For example we (Turks) didnt Took Northern Cyprus with all this statesments, we took it with ammo And blood.

And who is he...i mean seriously except of 3 or 4 muslim countries nobody gives a damm about what he thinks...

exactly my thoughts.
Our leadership (civil+military) must grow some courage and take action--- The help with definitely come from countries like Turkey.

Kashmir always reminds me of NCC. Turks acted for their people. If in today's world, there were no nuclear weapons, I think we would have been fighting another war by now over Kashmir.

cyprus is not india..we are dealing with something much bigger not minnows...

Well, in 1974 Turkey was a minor state too, wilhout a real navy. And Greece Was a real threat for us... (our military spending was equal) but you know what happened... they Didnt attact us because they werent ready to risk everything, so you should ask yourself, are you ready to risk everything for your kin? Or are you going to be like 1974's Greece? Watching Your enemy to bucher Your kin behind Your safe space?
I know What I say is rude, but it is the truth. If you are not ready to fight for Kashmir, dont give them empty hopes. Because when they crushed by this hope it will be Your fault.

It was the difference between Turkey And Greece. Turkey risked everything for her kin, Greece didnt. India is ready to risk everything and we dont know what Pakistan will do.

i understand your point however the world is very different now like someone pointed out if it wasnt for nukes etc wed have had another conventional war by now over kashmir.
War between india and pakistan is suicide for both countries the dilemma is instead of saving kashmir our we ready to plunge into mutual destruction/suicide by trying to save something..the irony of that would be in trying to save something we end up destroying us them and kashmir

I understant Your point too. I just dont believe India will use her nuclear power just for Kashmir. Just think in Korea war both US And soviet union was nuclear powers. They killed each other in battlefield but they didnt use their nuclear Arsenal because korea wasnt worth it, İt is the same for kashmir, India is ready to fight for it, but are they ready for a nuclear destruction?

Sick and tired of leaders banging on about "diplomat", "resolutions" and "moral support". What kind of joke is this???

IK needs to stand up and say clearly and unequivocally that the abrogation of these articles nullifies the instrument of accession and the conditions of accession of the state of Kashmir.

Not only does this nullify the accession of Kashmir to India by breaking the terms and conditions of said accession, but the present decision was NOT made by consultation with the inhabitants of Kashmir.

Indeed they themselves have made it clear that they are forced to acquiesce to this abrogation.

This renders Kashmir an independent and now occupied territory. Indian army has recklessly and aggressively occupied this nation.

The security risk to Pakistani sovereignty requires an immediate build up of troops and mobilisation, even if the intention is not to invade IoK. For our own damn security we need to stare these bhakts down eye to eye, guns pointed.

Do it IK. Do it NOW.

THEN WATCH AS THEY SHTTTTT THEIR SAFFRON PANTS AND THE WORLD ALSO TAKES NOTICE.

NOBODY NOTICED IN FEB UNTIL WE SHOT THEIR JETS DOWN. SAME APPLIES NOW.

Force the bastards' hand.

we will be massively outnumbered..man power and resource wise..india has no first use policy..if we are on backfoot we might have no other option other than to use nukes which would be akin to taking the enemy down with us there would be no winners..just this possibility has kept war at bay

Pragmatic... Greece did the same in 1974, so Please if it is the case, dont give Kashmir emty hopes, make them bow their head to India. Because I dont want to see muslims of the Kashmir to buchered by Your enemies. And please dont see this advice as offansive, I just consider the greater good for Kashmir.
