Turkish News Sites are becoming huge

Glad some people started to see YeniSafak as a tool to use, not some undisputable AKP source which undermines it. They are better than Sputnik.

They were an indisputable AKP source for a while. But after one of the writers dropped some truth on AKP's mistakes my view of them has changed a bit. Of course there still is a lot of AKP propaganda on their site, but they do at times release some good PR pieces for international consummation.

.
Again with AKP obsession someone began to givining lessons about free press. What Yenişafak did is not propaganda, it is writing some achievements of the AKP but somebody hates the truth. They want to propaganda machine for their bs ideology like in Eygpt.

I found an a Twitter account which posts in Arabic, it is called TurkeyAffairs. They are daily spreading anti-Turkish propaganda with over 50.000 followers. I suspect FETO scum, posts seem their style but in favor of Arab regimes.

One post:

"Turkish police assault Sudanese travelers stuck at Istanbul airport, and despite the intervention of a Sudanese diplomat, the police expelled them from the airport"

We need Twitter accounts like Clash Report which posts in targeted languages.

Why? Arabs have to understand that we are not their friends and if such a twitter account provides material for that then this is agood thing. Its also most likely an emirati funded one We dont like them and they will have enough material in a couple of years when we repair our relations with Israel.

That's your personal view, keep it to yourself. Learn to properly quote, and mention in your posts as well.

They are not becoming huge. They are just being readed and retweeted by Turks who are living abroad. Even if a foreigner cites them as a source, they are not being trusted because foreigners see them as the propaganda machines of Erdogan (which I understand). They even trust Russian or Chinese sources like RT and Sputnik more . If we can get rid of Erdogan, they can grow even more but these are only the first steps to become huge and I think they are doing good for now...

You are first and foremost contradicting urself here, 2nd is that they are indeed becoming huge, a new layout for DailySabah which has started to take now OP of foreigners into its report andTRT world reaching 712k subs, when I opened this thread last month it had 650k subscribers, thats a rise of 62k~ subscribers in 1month and no, its not Turks who are reading that, Turks on the wider scheme hardly speak english let alone understand whats being written there. The audience when it comes to foreigners is also rather diverse and not exclusively aimed at 1 group of people, they are focusing on a wider range of demographics and they are succeding with that.

They are not becoming huge FOR NOW. They are definitely growing, but it takes time to gain trust. And you're forgetting the fact that even if most of our population cannot speak or read in English, they support it by thinking like they are serving our country by doing that. Of course there are foreigners who are subscribing and reading them but the majority is Turkish...

Thats simply not true, you have to backup ur claims, TRT worlds subscriber base is hardly Turkish judging by comments and subscriber growth, DailySabah is also focusing on the wider global aspects rather then Turkish, they are still there but on the sidelines while the headlines are the current issues the World is facing and Anadolu agency is obviously Turkish government but also takes a more direct approach nowadays for global issues, the opinion pieces by the analysts in Anadolu agency are truly worth a read and the analysts there are also becoming more diverse in both their demograhpics and ethnicity.

Then we have opposition friendly Hurriyet which is also growing but needs a new more modern layout.

Every newspaper/site has bias it doesn’t matter whether it’s western or eastern(chinese/russian and others)
Turkish sites should do more(they should focus on more global issues) in attracting foreign audience but they shouldn’t do it at Turkey’s expense like “birgun.net” and similar “newspapers”
So what’s the solution?? pro-pkk and pro-lgbt mouthpiece (english version) supported by government to be more likeable by non-turks??
I would rather have conservative yenisafak even if they have bias rather than liberal queer newspaper
Most of sputnik/russia today international followers are actually european nazis/crusaders/eurosceptics normal person wouldn’t even bother to read these russian crap propaganda sites

Russian news sites are already rendered useless by now and on the wider scheme marked as russian propaganda while chinese ones failed instantly and will not be in a position to recover duo to Corona, as soon as u defend china ur on the wider demography of the world a "CCP Bot/Troll" and and since regular news sites wont do that PR Job anymore the chinese copied the Russian Troll factories and are using similar methods as Russian, false flagging via fake accounts and propagate a lie 10.000 times and here the chinese are again not succsesfull because everything pro china will be instantly considered a CCP Troll.

But back to topic, Turkish news site are becoming influential and this is a good thing and im still waiting for our new colleague to back up his imaginary claims.

I appreciate a lot hurriyet and daily sabah
We all know that these sites have a bias towards certain political parties yet most of the language used is moderate they also have interesting articles about global issues
TRT World is slowly becoming turkish version of aljazeera english(they criticize everyone except qatari government same will happen with TRT channel but to be honest that’s a normal thing because every state (public) channel is pro-government anywhere in the world)
