Turkish forces would suffer Great losses in war with Egypt in Libya

On the Sea, im afraid Egypt still has the superior hand. They have valuable logistic assets such as misterals supported by SU35 and Mig35 fighter jets. Turkey on the other hand has a good local industries capable of keeping the frontline hot for Egypt.
The goodness of this Balance of power is that it will make both sides avoid war.

This is the craziest and most inaccurate analysis of the year :omghaha:

Oh dear, where to start...

Mistral is not a logistical asset and with the current setup completely toothless and defenceless. Egypt does not operate Su-35 or Mig-35. Egypt's navy is a complete joke and embarrassment. They have no maritime tradition nor experience in utilising their outdated assets effectively. Oh, did I mention the lack of interoperability?

In short, one-fourth of the Turkish Navy would be enough to completely annihilate the Egyptian coast-guard-calibre navy.

Without airbases Tuaf couldn't do much of anything. All it needs is to take out all airbases used by GNA in Libya and Turkish air force is done with. You can barely get sorties even with tankers from Turkish land.
This sounds great for hearing but some if not all of these bases are jointly owned with TAF as of yesterday when new military agreements were signed not to mention that these bases are also protected by turkish frigates which frankly I and probably you know that Egypt won’t attack turkish assets even if some desperate nations( for example poor greeks) would like to happen
The most realistic scenario that can indeed occur is the Seraqib-style battle where Turkey strikes lna and Egypt strikes gna while avoiding each other and the winner would be those who have more men left after heavy losses

Heres a little example of the coverage offered by Egyptian anti ship missiles.

Bro UAE attacked the bases multiple times if you weren't aware. Nothing really happened against UAE itself.

Yeah not really Turkish submarines will obliterate their whole Navy, they don't have Su-35 and Mig-35 btw...

Secondly why people are talking about some imaginary high losses when there are no turkish soldiers fighting-only military advisors

This is what everybody is missing. There are almost no Turkish soldiers or assets in Libya. The few in Libya are in an advising role.

Su35 is yet to come and this is big if even though russians are saying that certainly they will deliver them
We are talking about possible conflict that may happen tomorrow(in my opinion impossible because Egypt isn’t ready for a conflict)
Those mig35 how much of them are actually in inventory actively serving??

Guy Mistral is a Multi purpose carriers. Yes it can switch roles in war.
As for SU35 and Migs they are almost ready, put them beside falcons and Rafales. First Batch of Sukhois were spotted by satellites. Please visit the Egyptian armed forces thread. Russia will deliver them.
How could you call type 209/1400 submarines useless is beyond my Logic. Maybe Thats because you are a troll.

Same question to you
Maybe these submarines are indeed on par with turkish and credible opponent but are they in inventory or not?? The deal with italians was signed recently nobody expects that they will be delivered in 10 days and be ready for combat operations

These are the German subs, yes they are delivered.

They will be at the bottom of the sea as soon as war begins. They are huge static targets and the Egyptian navy doesn't have any asset which can defend them in a meaningful way. Good luck switching their role at the bottom of the sea.

Why do you resort to lying? only a few Su-35s were spotted on satellite imagery, not a batch. A few out-gunned Su-35s and Mig-29s will not do any difference.

They have 3 decent submarines. Do you know how many Turkey has as well as the capabilities of the Turkish Navy to detect and destroy submarines?

Lets be honest guys, without airbases in Libya Turkey could not project power in the air that much. Yeah, they have F-16s but not enough tankers to generate a lot of sorties.

Having the same subs that your opponent has for 20+ years, built by themselves, upgraded by themselves is the same as having them for a year...

Those attacks happened before January 2020(installment of hawk air defense batteries) but most importantly those were small scale attacks you are talking here abou Egypt completely obliterating these bases which would certainly mean turkish losses both in terms of equipment(G-frigates) and human lives(military officials/advisors)
