Turkish Engine Programs

This is the most difficult technology to learn, but when you solve this problem limit will be the sky. They should sell it in civil aviation to, i can not believe 10 years later Turkey turning in to engine technology country. We will be the top 5 countries in the world :p: .

The Russian share of the market may very well decline, particularly with US/EU sanctions on Russian Defense equipment(CAATSA) and the sanctions from the Ukrainian conflict. either way not sure about what position, but there should be plenty of demand for defense sales of Turkish Hardware, Turkey is a significant drone manufacturer, and its equipment comes with less strings attached which some countries may prefer. I think with the growing economies of Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and even sales to Algeria and Morrocco are a possibility, not to mention central asian states wishing for an independent weapons supplied gives that nature of heavy dependence on Russia and China.
 

TEI GM, Professor Akşit insists that they aspire to the MMU engine. He mentions that they have technically reached the competence to design and develop an engine of 35,000 pounds. He mentions that not only maximum thrust and efficiency, but also a new generation of turbofan capabilities such as super-cruise and infrared suppression are all possible. In this regard, it is quite possible that the TF-6000 is related to a project similar to TAI TISU, which has not yet been disclosed.

He says that the necessary technological know-how has been achieved in all sub-working areas; and he is right in this regard. For about 10 years, we have successfully completed many ongoing projects related to material technologies, especially related to the engine hot-section.

Maybe not on purpose, but with the share of work it provides, GE has created the conditions that will enable the creation of an engine giant in Turkiye on a scale that will respond to military needs. All we had to do notice this was to focus on sub-work areas that would strengthen the will of SSB for indigenous production and eleminate blind-points.
 

TEI-TF6000 Turbofan Engine



Having implemented the project with its resources considering Türkiye's turbofan engine needs, TEI is developing the first indigenous turbofan engine, TEI-TF6000, with 6000 lbf dry thrust. The engine, designed to support the TEI-TF10000-A/B configuration as the afterburner version, will provide 10000 lbf thrust together with the afterburner and will be able to reach the forces needed for supersonic flights.

The TEI-TF6000 Turbofan Engine and its derivatives to be developed from its core engine are available to be employed on various national platforms such as manned-unmanned Fighter Jets, civil-military helicopters with 10-ton take-off weight

No. Drones. KızılElma and TAI's new drone designed to be the Global Hawk equivalent.

The prototype of the TF-6000 turbofan engine will be integrated (in May-2023) into the prototype of the TAI's new drone. Thus, two prototypes (the drone and its engine) will be developed together. Presumably, the same practice will be carried out for the new TF10000 prototype and one of KE prototype.

If you can design and manufacture drones the way you want, you have very convenient test platforms for your engines. Think about it, you can perform an engine test in the air at the same time, for example, with 10 drones, 24 hours a day and without a break. An amazing ability!

That's why I think our boys are confident about domestic turbofan jet engine development.

Not only drones but it can power power stations to suply little town with electricity or naval version. Naval applications marine propulsions, modern warfare ships use CODAG(combined diesel and gas) and thats 2 gasturbine and 2 diesel.

The aim is big, not only millitairy but civilian versions will come. The Turkish defence industy is going bigtime, establishing a industry so it can provide itself with civilian sector. Like that TUSAS will go to civilian sector with Gokbey.
