No,only two amphibious assault ships. Are you having a plan to induct aircraft carriers as well? That model looks way bigger than a normal amphibious assault ship.
No,only two amphibious assault ships.
Brother, During steel cutting ceremony of TCG Anadolu LHD, PM stated out that
“I see our amphibious assault ship, which we participated into steel cutting ceremony as a first step for constructing one of World’s most outstanding aircraft carriers. It is a big loss for Turkey not to have a nuclear powered aircraft carrier.”
Then, IÇDAŞ Aş started construction of a dry dock which has a length of 370m. İÇDAŞ manager states out that they are going to serve for Turkey’s defence industry and This investment worth 50million $ will be used to construct Turkey’s first aircraft carrier.
İÇDAŞ may follow a marketing policy to make own investment attractive on the eye of officials but they may be charged by government to build such a big dry-dock in Çanakkale and I believe second option is more logical because they openly uses a drydock design with an aircraft carrier on and They officially describe the project "Uçak Gemisi İnşa Havuzu".
@Tshering22 ,it seems i was wrong, check out @cabatli_53 s post.Brother, During steel cutting ceremony of TCG Anadolu LHD, PM stated out that

Add few I class frigate and auxiliary ships.President ERDOGAN said that Turkey will develop everything which what The US,Russia,China,France,The UK ( UN security council members ) have
so in 2016 President ERDOGAN said that Turkey will develop its own Aircraft Carrier after TCG ANADOLU project for 2030s
S.Arabia finances Egypt to buy weapons against Turkey and Qatar
if Qatar finances Turkey to produce game changer military projects then S.Arabia,Uae and Egypt will suck
even Turkey itself can finance all military projects
Turkey gave $15 billion to muslim countries for humanitarian aid in the last 2 years
Turkey would create Carrier Strike Group for $15 billion for 2030s ( Turkish military bases in Qatar,Somali,Sudan and many more in future )
-- 1 Aircraft Carrier with 40 F35B Fighter Jets , Helicopters $10 billion
-- 3 TF-2000 class Destroyers $3 billion
-- 1 Type214TN class AIP Submarine $500 million
-- 1 Super Tanker $500 million
Add few I class frigate and auxiliary ships.
Inshaallah we will see a Muslim carrier battle group by 2030 .
Does Turkey really need a aircraft carrier?
And can Turkey build a nuclear powered aircraft carrier?
I mean we have Northern Cyprus + 2 planned LHD's that is more than enough to protect Turkey and it's interests.
1 carrier probably for power projectile is being considered. It will only have one mission; draw circles on international waters around Cyprus and Greece
It would be smarter to invest "possible" aircraft carrier money in more Warships/Submarines and a next level Air/Naval base on Cyprus.
With a Military base on Cyprus Turkey controls the Eastern Mediterranean.
And i think two LHD's with F-35B's on it are more than enough for Greece and other countries in the region.
