Great work by Turkey, and shows strength of Turkish naval industry. Indian money being spent on Turkish equipment and R&D will actually benefit Pakistan too in the long run. A win win win for all three countries.
Yeah only in case they don't have to donate you their military hardware coz not everyone has got big wallet like the US.
Total of 5 fleet support vessels will be supplied. Each vessel will be 45.000t. Turkish engineers will be sent to Indian shipyards to build these giant vessels.

Wasn't this deal put on hold?

Turkish firms will provide technical support, systems engineering and consultation for Indian shipbuilding industry. These ships will be produced in Indian shipyards. Building processes in these shipyards will be under the control of India and the engineering solutions that will emerge will also be the gain of India. So there is no need to overrrate this commerce or produce conspiracy theories on this subject.

TAIS shipyards group is one of the most important solution partner of Turkish naval forces already, and also one of the most important shipbuilding facility in the country and region in the civil-commercial field. TAIS group, which has more than 40 years of experience in the production of replenishment tankers in military standards starting from Sedef Shipyard, Today continues to produce logistic support ships, auxiliary ships, tank landing ships and even LHD for the Turkish Navy. Possibly TAIS group will also be winner of Istif class frigate mass production tender. So very briefly, India's cancellation of this business will not be shocking for a group whose order-book is already full for the next 10 years.

On the other hand, system engineering of the Pakistan replenishment ship project was carried out directly through STM. The light frigate project continues with STM support and ASFAT contracting. STM is a state-owned engineering company. ASFAT is also a state company, established by the incorporation of military shipyards and factories. It is a very irrelevant that Pakistan and India are being compared over this.
