Turkey is ready for Euro 2024

As a candidate country to host the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship, Turkey has completed all the necessary investments into new stadiums, transportation, hotels and infrastructure, the Turkish Football Federation has said

Turkey has spent more than 3 billion euros to build new stadiums, including 10 very modern ones in 9 cities


The new airport in Istanbul will serve 90 million passengers annually in its first phase in 2018. This figure will rise to 200 million annually after its completion


Nine host cities—Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Kocaeli, Eskişehir, Konya, Antalya, Gaziantep and Trabzon—will be connected through high-speed trains by 2023 at the latest when the country will achieve a total capacity of 1 billion passengers annually owing to an investment worth 24 billion euros

Germany will win the hosting rights for sure because they have a better infrastructure+ bigger and better stadiums that are already in place. Germany can host a World Cup with 48 teams next week if they have to and it will all go smoothly. A EURO 2024 in Germany as a safer bet will bring much bigger net profits too.

It will most probably be Germany yes. For the 2020 Euros for example Turkey was the only country that brought forward a bid, but was ignored and instead UEFA changed the format spreading out the whole tournament across many different countries.

Germany hosted the 1974 World Cup and 1988 European Championship, while the 2006 World Cup was held in Germany

on the other hand Turkey has never hosted a major tournament

Turkey also build modern stadiums ( Istanbul 92.000 will be far better than Olympiastadion in Berlin 74.000 and Allianz Arena in Munich 67.800 ... also Ankara 65.000 will be far better than Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund 66.000 and Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen 55.000 ......also TT Arena in Istanbul 52.000 is better than Volksparkstadion in Hamburg 51.500 )
and Istanbul Airport is the biggest and most modern Airport in Europe

btw I would prefer Izmir instead of Gaziantep ..... Izmir is a big city in beautiful Aegean and much better than Gaziantep

Turkey bidded a couple times already, once a Turkish reporter asked Platini if there is any chance that Turkey will every get a tournament and the answer was ''maybe one day when UEFA boss becomes a Turk''.
Football is corrupt thoroughly, i dont even know why Turkey is wasting time and money on this, i would prefer new schools over empty stadiums.
