Last time i travelled to Pak was through emirates almost 5 years back
You have to spend 7 hours doing something i would go crazy if i cant do anything
with Laptops you can work, game and watch shows or movies it gives you freedom than watching on crappy IFE

So Any suggestion PIA or LAYOVER ?

Personally I prefer Qatar Airways, As Doha air port is not much crowded most of times - You can easily find quite place to sit & relax, power outlets. Dubai airport is very noisy, If I have to go via Dubai then my favorite way to kill time there is to troll Philippines & Indian sales staff at duty free, specially by keep asking weights and prices of jewelry items.

PIA - I will be the last person you will be asking about them unless it's privatized . Layovers choice wary person to person, some find is opportunity to explore others like me find it hectic to leave airport for couple of hours and then rush back.

But for now overall services are much better in other airlines compared to pia

although i have no right to say but please stop this for few days you will feel better . give your time to yourself .every day i go to evening walk and keep my mobile in car . so i can hear birds songs sound of waves i feel really good relaxing and i can think whatever i want to .when i go vacations i did not carry my mobile and laptops with me . life is so beautiful then electronics we have to learn to live without them sometime . remember i am and was internet addict like many of us here .

One Question in regards to outlets
Most Flights from To Pakistan are not direct but they offer few hours of layover but they do include poweroutlets
While from the reviews i can see the condition have gone worse no IFE and no poweroutlets for laptops ? is that true
What you guys suggest direct flight which is 7 hours
or one layour which is from 10 to 13 hours newer planes better conditions poweroutlets and wifi ?

Depends on your budget and time...

I usually prefer direct flights...

I hate long layovers....I dont mind up to 4 hrs but after that I have usually done everything and am bored and half sleepy!

Its around 34 Grand and lol i have to pay extra on tablet is as well
Is Pakistani Gov gone crazy it seem like i would have to pay 400 to 500 £ taxes for just bringin the 2nd mobile and tablet lol wth
Its beyond idiotic to force these kinds of taxes on visitors, you are only forcing people to dont come to Pakistan

You would be surprised at how much people can churn once pressurized! We are talking about people with "palace" like homes who never pay any taxes!

But yea...such tax is insane! Anyway, there are rules like if you are going to use Pak sim in that mobile or not or if you are going to use Pak sim for more than 1 mth and stuff like that...

I did that ....just walked out in Doha and you can get a free hotel package if you stay 1 night (or less but more than 4 or was it 6 hrs)
