I still cant understand farsi..
when I hear, it sounds familier, like I might understand, but more like Sims game dialogues..

They are the same [in roots, origins] but words have changed/ changes during times...

We have to check Aryan history since 8000 years ago to begin with.

can you understand hindi? what about urdu?

I can understand 20% of hindi words and 30% of the sense. Urdu is easier, it has much more common words and verbs in Farsi.
BTW I listen to Hindi more than Urdu beacase sometimes I watch Indian films.

I have watched only like 4 or 5, and liked them all...
a separation, white baloon.. the one with afgan guy(forgot the name).. and another one with a boy that goes missing in a beach/resort.

Interesting post thanks. Farsi is easy for me to understand, I can read it mostly with ease, can understand like more then 50% of the topic.
