How Israel is your enemy if you have peace agreement with it? Then why you signed on the agreement? Why you stay in contacts with Israel?

Bottom line: non of the Arabs can be trusted.

Jordan was isolated and got abandoned by the whole world, even by most Arab countries after it's support to Saddam in 1990. So, the only way for Jordan to get out of this and break the ice was to make peace treaty with Israel, Jordanian army and economy were a shamble at the time. Guys, how the hell would you expect us to be friends while, you still occupying Palestanian territories, killing Palestanians, imprisoning and harassing them, demolishing their farms and houses, attack them...etc?

We have been trying hard to reach a peaceful solutions with you but you were bluffing all the time, even king of Saudi Arabia offered a full recognition between you and all 53 Muslim countries in exchange for full withdrawal from 1967 occupied Palistanian territories and establishing a state. You made it very clear that you don't want peace at all.

I know that, I just tired to understand how a Jordanian handle this anomaly - a peace agreement with Israel and wanting to destory it simultaneously.

They are traitors and very avid on breaking commitments. The rule is: Once you give your words you gotta stick to it. You don't break your promise just like that. They have no morals or ethics whatsoever and would not hesitate to backstab Israel at the slightest opportunity. Israel should not put an iota of trust for it's neighbours. It should be more aggressive against terrorists.

History of jordan and israel wars are intresting in 1948 there are romours that jordan attacked in hope of that after the war they can take west banks for themselves , in all other wars also they were against the war and it was egypt which convinced them to enter the war .
So i wonder what will be jordan stand on this matter if the new government in egypt again decide to go to war with israel ?

Actually, Jordanian performance in all Arab-Israeli wars was relatively the best. We were fighting them while you were in bed with them.

If Israel is such a terrible country then why you maintain your peace agreement with Israel all through the second intifada, Lebanon War of 2006 and operation Cast Led in Gaza in 2009, and you still have peace agreement?

If Israel is such an evildoer how come Jordan always had strong ties with it?

Please remind that it was Jordan who occupied the West Bank and Jerusalem for 19 years! You oppressed the Palestinians and their situation was much worst than today, if their rights are so important to Jordan how come it did not give them an independent state in the West Bank? It had 19 years to do that. And you occupation ended only thanks to Israel which defeated Jordan in 1967, otherwise you would still occupy the West Bank.

But does not prevent you from lecturing Israel about the poor Palestinians and their rights.


The Saudi proposal has just one little problem: Israel cannot negotiate on it, and must accept that millions of Palestinians can return into Israel. So this is a polite proposal for Israel by 53 Muslim countries to commit suicide, and you criticise Israel for rejecting it?

Winning hearts/minds is not possible if extremist propaganda and anti-Israel hatred is deeply ingrained in people. Israel gave up all conquered territories though the adversaries were aggressor. Israel made peace with it's neighbours though it's neighbours are proven backstabbers. It is simply impossible to convince fanatics and extremists with irrational israel hatred ingrained in them

No one recognised the West Bank as part of Jordan, why did not Jordan offer the Palestinians their own independent state when it had the chance to do it? Don't they deserve their self determination with East Jerusalem as their capital? Why Jordan demands Israel for the same thing it refused to do? A Palestinian state could have been established in 1949!

Neither Jordan, nor Egypt nor any of Israel's neighbours can be trusted. This is a historical fact. They have backstabbed Israel every now and then and would backstab again at slightest opportunity.
