They feared I would appoint Lt Gen Faiz Hameed as army chief: Imran Khan

Ego before everything else.
See the culture,
and ask how much free thinking is allowed ?
how much innovation is allowed ?
Look at the few 4-5 officers who are performing over and above
see what the institution did to them.
then ask yourself, why did this happen ?

CULTURE CULTURE CULTURE.
You can’t compare military setup with a corporate. However it’s not all that shallow as you mentioned.

Plots in DHA and Askari can be "security" a typical middle class is looking for, not a person having lots of authority. A LOT of it!
Ever thought of insecurities of man known as hitler?
Corporal Adolf ?

Whoever said i was talking about corporate ?
My own course mates are examples.
nevertheless.
They are generals ?

I find it surprising that people still see neutrality from the establishment. This is laughable to anyone who is actually impartial.

The following things prove without reasonable doubt that things were not impartial as far as the establishment was concerned.
- how Jam Khoro murderer MNA was brought back despite having warrant against him and his path was cleared to get to vote
- the SC holding out on ruling on presidential reference on whether MNAs would be disqualified or not- if they had ruled earlier- most like MQM would have stayed with PTI coalition
- the charade at SC and opening courts middle of night- ECP getting involved
- the following murders that have happened involving cases with SS that establishment is, probably, well aware of

And frankly much more. Those claiming that PTI was removed fair and square and no extra constitutional nonsense need to go get their heads checked with all due respect.

Khan sb were opening talking in private meetings about appointing Gen-Faiz as the next COAS. And this wasn't because of General's professional acumen but rather his political favors for IK. One may have a particular liking for someone but maintaining a working relationship with army is necessary for any PM in Pakistan. The dispute was not initiated by the army but by IK himself which ultimately led to his ouster (Although he may try to pin it on US or UK) but the fact remains that the dispute turned army against him. There are over 34 three stars in the army, you can't just simply outright reject the other 33 for someone who you think would do greater political engineering for you.

Now by saying this publicly, IK is totally ruining any chances of Gen.Faiz of becoming the COAS.

1- Jam Khoro was managed with the power of Sindh Government.
2- PTI can't offer MQM provincial ministries, PDM can.
3- There would be no difference if SC would have given same ruling before VONC, as it was not applied even after VONC.
4- VONC was a constitutional obligation of custodian of NA, SC ordered to hold VONC on a certain date and that date was passing, court become active on request of SCBA.

IK took the Bajwa's support for granted. The military did most of the work to keep the IK govt afloat during the last 4 years than IK himself. He'd simply not bother about his allies as he though Baj and Faiz would keep them in line for him. And the allies always asked military for their next move as repeatedly pointed by PMLQ, BAP and MQM. The allies were only invited for dinners when his government was either in risk or he saw him losing the VONC. But as Kamil Ali Agha said, "We are not the allies of the PTI, but the GHQ". When you'd trust the advice of your wife over the man who effectively ran your government, things are gonna get ugly fast.

Army simply rolled back their support to put IK in his place.

He is making sure that Gen Faiz should become as much controversial that he could not be considered for the post of COAS.

Where was the maligning part, or as usual you're trying to pull things out of arse like your Mian Tui Shareef?

See how imran khan made him contraversial
(Zardari is IK b team per maryum)

Exactly..he was very ungrateful
How dare he asked about putting taxes on elite
He should know his place

Why Imran Khan is maligning a sitting Lt. Gen who is also strong candidate of COAS?? He is repeatedly using Gen. Faiz's name in his political rallies, army should stop him.
So other politicians can openly name General Faiz and scandalize him but Imran Khan cannot even reply them back? What kind of twisted Patwarism is this?

So when your Maryam Qatari and Zardari were making General Faiz controversial, were you on sleeping mode?

When naza soor and qatri prostitute can use COAS and GEN Faiz names why cant imran khan ???
Because Bughaz Imran @FOOLS_NIGHTMARE

Showbaz is living on a thin majority.

So his boot polish skills must be at it’s peak to keep the neutrals and the hotch potch PDM together.

Just look at how disconnected the government is. The PM is resigned to the fact Pakistan is a beggar state. The Foreign Minister whereabouts are unknown and the Finance Minister is a joke. The spokesperson is in Dubai shopping while the real spokesperson seems to be talking about everything but his own institution. The interior minister says blasphemous things on tv. Some minister says corruption is ok.

But yes, keep dragging and prepare to rig elections. The mafias ruling Pakistan do not have Pakistan’s interest at heart but are only interested in self preservation.

Pakistan, being like this, will never prosper.
