Turks captured about 20% of mountain region inflicting very low civilian casualties:

Assadists slaughtered over 300 civilians but did not advance even 1 meter so far.

No. The significance is that Israel can give such moral lessons. For it is Israel that does have the record of defeating its enemies while doing the utmost to preserve civilian lives and infrastructure, whereas Russia, Syria, and Iran do not.

What I see is a Dictator who's actions paved the way to 400K+ death and Half of his population displaced...

What I see..;is an Opportunist Russia, who was losing influence ground around the world...and took this opportunity "excuse" to make a point and TILL this days, bombing civilians...

What I see...is a blinded Iran that only playing his sectarian games outside of his territory... to keep safe his own country...since they knew...if they didn't do so..;they will be next...

But I can understand your view...since you are also blinded by your hatred and Ignorance..that you are willing to accept any wrongdoing made just to support your biased "side"... Not the first time neither the last...

The only thing that came to my mind is how narrow minded the author must be, ''progress is slow so it must be bad'', not even considering tactics, terrain, doctrines, 3rd players etc. etc. there are many factors.

Otherwise Turkey is more than capable of bombing whole Afrin region to oblivion without even setting foot inside Syria.
