Leave it for the adventurous thrill seekers to try scale those heights on weekends.
and stop damaging the critical environmental balance in that region due to our presence.

A pipe dream for peace lovers on both sides really.. Is there a single inch of India Pakistan Border that is de militarized. Even the earlier convention of vacating high altitude posts on a clearly demarked LOC during extreme winters has been abandoned since the Kargil mess. So how would something so contentious in an unclearly marked terrain be achieved.

The only practical answer is to accept the loss on both sides as yet another cost of mistrust and animosity between India and Pakistan... And move on.. When larger issues will be solved between the 2 countries, this will be too

Huh, demilitarize because Pakistan can afford it no more.

Why should the army give up its hard-fought gains. And anyways Pakistan has a history of playing Judas when it comes to matters of trust.

The army has refused to give in to civilian dove talk, I support keeping the heights.

Right now Pakistan isn't even on the glacier, why is it so concerned about Indians sitting there. Nawaz Sharif is right, if Pakistan army cannot climb up the glacier, what is the point of sitting down there and staring at the Indians from below.

The ISI was too busy keeping an eye on those who might pose a danger to the raaj of our glorious army. Therefore, I can say it with all confidence and certainty , there was no intelligence failure but the matter of priorities. They were even more stupid if they ordered their winter clothes from that tailor who used to sew bespoke dhotis for our Hindu friends.

Yup! Since after 1984 , more then 2000 Pakistani soldiers died in Siachin , and 4500 indian soldiers are died..More in avalanche and less in clashes. So it doesn't seems that indian soldiers are enjoying Siachin too. More impotantly Indian jawans are also getting mentally damaged day by day...

how its integral part of your country ?? if we see geographically all the glaciers out side polar region are part of pakistan and siachen is also part of it and it also connects with the baltoro glacier too but indians captured it in 1984

No man or nation can proclaim ownership of any piece of the Earth. Infact, if anything, we only owe to the Earth.
Our boundaries make us war and no matter how we draw them, we will continue to wage war, like we always have.
The best solution is to declare permanent borders so that there is no room for confusion and the aggressor can be clearly identified.

Please put this deep inside your head that India or Indians have no expansionist ideas and we are quite satisfied with what we have. All we want is peace and we need to be strong just so that we can maintain peace. I dont understand why Pakistanis are so obsessive about Indian aggression ? Take care of Karachi and let god take care of Siachen, for there are more suitable places on the Earth for humans to dwell.
