The Han dynasty's aggressive behavior militarily, diplomatically and politically, has pout paid to whatever sympathy they may have had. Theirs is the fastest growing offensive military infrastructure in the world and they have the gumption to rap India and France for inking the Rafale deal?

Now, how dumb and hypocritical is that?

Sorry to ruin your dreams, but according to all the major international polls (i.e. the BBC country rating polls and Pew Global research polls), China is rated more positively worldwide than both the EU and the USA.

And needless to say, ALL three are ranked FAR higher than India is.

Even As we speak , China is ONE OF TE LARGEST IMPORTERS of Weapons. Engines, Fighters , Ships , Technology .
Why dont you Make the Same Assessment for your own nation ? Perhaps You may counter my assessment with " we are now Building then on our Own" but then my Friend, India too is Doing the same ...

If wish to make comparision why not open ur eyes and compare yourself with US and Russia which are Miles ahead of China when it comes to building state-of-the-art technologies in defence and other areas. China still lacks A Lot in Avionics, Submaries , Carriers and Jet Engines etc.

The DIFFERENCE between ME and YOU is , As an Indian I acknowledge the DELTA PROGRESS ( Initial State - The Final State ) Change.

China has made Awesome Progress in Ares of Defence & Economy in the last two decades.

Same Applies to India which has Built/Building ON ITS OWN , a BMD System , Aircraft Carrier , ICBM , Nuclear Subs covering virtually all the areas of high end technology that just a few nations have succeeded to explore and succeed.

If You Look at the Time In which India has Jumped from being a "Third World Nation" to an Economic Giant , in the ranks of China and Japan You got to appreciate the fact that the nation has achieved a lot.

To Conclude, WHen you say India is Lagging... Keep in Mind : India is Ranked in your Close Proximity to You & When it comes to Defence :

India : China :: China : US/Russia

India and France inked the Rafale deal also makes way for Indian investment in French colonies in Africa.
India will get access to these African countries to grow its economy and establish good relations there, secondly Dassault and HAL can work together in futuristic techs unlike chinese who copy.

If things go well Indian influence in Africa particularly in former french colonies will increase.

France doesn't control sh*t and India certainly don't have the capability to out compete China in ANY field. India is too busy solving their rape problems than competing with China.

No mate Rafale deal will make India self sufficient and can make India to build AMCA.

This deal is about buying tech and establishing our own industry, it is not about fighter jets.

what tech? You have no defence industry. You import ALL the subcomponents from foreign suppliers. Even Iran can make their own weapons with their own subcomponents.

The global arms trade has grown by nearly a quarter over the last four years, with new growth mainly in poorer countries and India now officially the world's biggest importer of arms, research has revealed.
Statistics published on Monday by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute show that demand from emerging economies – in particular India – drove the volume of worldwide arms transfers between 2007 and 2011 to a level 24% higher than in the previous four years.
Alongside India the five largest arms importers today are all Asian states, according to the data, prompting fears of an arms race in a region still blighted by deep poverty.

And J11 is a rip off of su 27 which is inferior to Su 30 MKI

Within one year India will role LCA Tejas Mark 2 which is a 4.5 generation fighter jet which can compete J10.

India is establishing its own aerospace industry with the help of French and Russis unlike chinese.

If China is not afraid of Rafale why such stupid articles are published in people's daily ??

Take an example of Libya where China lost billions of dollars of investment because of war and the same is going to happen in Africa.
