Again not a God, though I accept that people do worship him. The character is interesting, so is used to attract kids. Not much of a religious message though maybe a general moral one. I find this cussedness suffocating. If you start objecting to characters who are from the Hindu cultural space, similar objections will get made for much of the great stories of Arabia simply because they are set in a Muslim setting. No end to such competitive silliness. If CB or CH are liked in Pakistan, it simply proves my point. The attraction is in the characters themselves, not in their supposed religious context. Best to leave the children alone, no need to inculcate hatred in them too even if its too late for the likes of you.....
