I guess they are just loyal fans of the Ming Dynasty....

Is this like the recreation of the civil war they do here in the US?
Either way, I like it!
Yes, the uncle beat his nephew. and then transfer the capital to Beijing.

Ive been watching this show called Marco Polo, based on the name of the traveler and Kublai Khan's reign.
They speak of the Chinese "Cricket" Prime minister in the first season whos the main "villain".
Im assuming that's a real character?
I mean I can easily look this up on the web, but I prefer to discuss with the locals, so entertain my laziness if you will.

I'm sorry. I don't understand it too much. are you talking about the Ming Dynasty? Or the Yuan Dynasty?

Sorry I just jumped topics. That was my mistake.

I believe its the Song dynasty they refer to in the show Marco Polo and the Chinese character I was referring to is Chancellor Jia Sidao. They refer to him as the "Cricket" Prime minister who basically uses his position to manipulate and take over the Chinese kingdom.
Now it seems highly dramatized, which is why I was asking if the character truly had that reputation in Chinese history.

Heres the description of the character in the show:

Thanks in advance

hahahahahah, thank you friend. I just knew that Jia sidao(贾似道) is "Cricket Prime Minister". in the Song Dynasty, Gao qiu(高俅) was famous as the "football Prime Minister".

The history of the Song Dynasty was written by the Yuan Dynasty Prime Minister. So... There may be a human error.

Interest groups rely on rewriting history to fulfill their legalization.

But the facts will not be completely changed. Although the Qing Dynasty was wildly slander the Ming Dynasty, the people still cherish the memory of the Ming Dynasty.
