Yea you are right. The enlightenment needs to start in subcontinent. A positive sign is that the dark ages have already started in India. So the Hindu enlightenment should be around the corner too.

As I said, this is not a thread to diss Pakistan because india is worse when judged against the criteria of scientific temperment among the masses..if he is anti-Islam then I probably way more anti-Hindu...He makes way too many valid points to be dismissed without careful consideration...problem at hand is how to bring Enlightenment to any south Asian country...even the Scottish Enlightenment probably had more intellectual output than that of combined subcontinent of the last 200 years

There are definitely many problems to talk about India, but they are also the people who reject darkness and stand up for it. Have you heard of how many protests their people have organized about the darkness that was being forced on them? How has Modi performed in Delhi elections for example?
