The Indian Navy’s future power: Kolkata-Class and Visakhapatnam-Class Destroyers

China launched the missile tracking ship (Yuanwang series) in 1970s'. The program was approved by Chairman Mao in 1968.

Yuanwang-1, launched by the Jiangnan Shipyard in Dec. 1978.

No this is not I'm talking about, its specifically built for tracking ballistic missiles tests and spacecrafts, I am talking about regular NAVAL combatants of PLAN

I am gonna give credits to you guys for actually spent so much time on him.

So much precious knowledge and effort wasted on Indian IT back-office trolls who understand so little of it.
I have just carefully read the detailed report on the test firing of the Indian Navy's "Kochin" and "Chennai" on May 15, 2019. I'm sure it's just relay guidance, not CEC at all. Not even a junior CEC.

Since you understand CEC a lot better than me....

Current Bangladesh lead ship (Modified Ulsan Class from Daewoo shipbuilding) has Thales Tacticos Combat Management System, how would you compare that to having a CEC and what are the steps needed to get there?

BNS Bangabandhu
Sensors and processing systems:
  • Thales TACTICOS combat management system.
  • Thales DA08 (SPQ-501/RAWS03) E/F band (S-band) medium range 2D air search radar (145-195km, depending version)
  • Thales VARIANT lightweight short/medium range 2D surface search radar, simultaneously operating in the X and C-band. It can track surface targets up to 70km and air targets up to 120km
  • Kelvin Hughes 1007 I-band navigation radar
  • Thales LIROD Mk 2 K-band TWT fire control radar
  • Thales MIRADOR optical surveillance and tracking system
  • Chinese Type 345 fire control radar (for FM-90)
  • Atlas ASO-90/ DSQS-21 Mod Sonar
  • Link Y Mk2 communication
Electronic warfare & decoys:
  • ESM:Racal Cutlass 242; intercept
BNS Bangabandhu of the Bangladesh Navy is equipped with the Otomat Mk.II Block.IV AShM, an advanced and highly capable missile system with a range of 180+ km; these AShMs can change course mid-flight and the warship does not need to be repositioned to fire at the target (unlike other anti-ship missiles). It will be upgraded with the addition of another quad Otomat AShM launcher.

The vessel is armed with point-defence surface to air missile system in the form of 8 FM-90N SAMs (15 km range) and 4 x Otobreda 40 mm/70 (2 twin) compact CIWS. The vessel is also armed with 6 x 324 mm B-515 (2 triple) tubes which fire the EuroTorp Whitehead A244/S Mod.3 torpedoes (which is the latest version of that particular torpedo). All of these weapons systems together with the 1 x Otobreda 76 mm/62 Super Rapid Gun give the vessel extensive combat capability.

This frigate is also equipped with Thales sensors including Mirador optical tracking system and Lirod Mk. 2 fire control radar. The combat management system of the ship is Thales TACTICOS, as mentioned earlier. The Agusta-Westland AW109 Power naval helicopter on board is compatible to fire the C-704 AShMs and torpedoes among other weapons.

A crock-load of lies. Comparing sandal-wearing Indian Navy people with the US Navy. Network-centric my foot. Gimme a friggin' break!

Look at the scam call center troll got banned again. he will be back for more humiliation. a true cuck.

Only Indians country with 2000 per capita income can claim they have second best navy after USA. and sad part is these bhakts truly believe this shit.

Agreed but this further highlights CEC capacity with India.... Which is not only in the form of Barak....
Ànd why you guys especially @SMX 3.0 China haven't CEC thingy, their Navy is far far more advance than yours, you still don't have capability to develop sophisticated AESAs/ weapon systems integration ànd other critical parts such as Sonars/ RADARS/EW/ESM/ECCM etc etc And Chinese building these core systems for at least a decade, and still relying foreign core systems to be used on IN ships

Building castles in the air is a specialty. No actual proof or basis needed. Foreign tech can be claimed as "indigenous" at any time.

All this is just propaganda to re-elect Modi....

Nobody said China doesn't have CEC.... they are a vastly superior naval force compared to India.... I am just saying CEC capacity already exist in Indian navy in the form of Barak, P8s, Dhruva etc....

Does you have the CEC capability to connect other IN Vessels for Targeting cues???

Yeah 😊 you should thanks for West/Israel to give you such a critical technologies, ànd if you have so much AESA development projects than why you didn't put these AESAs on your NAVAL vessels instead of Israeli AESA??

Last time I heard, brahmose was supersonic for which we will have very capable CAMM ER defence system on our Babur class corvettes,HHq 16 semi active radar homing on type 54 ap frigate.
For your warships,we have AIP-submarines,we will have 11 attack submarines within this decade, and several our own antiship missiles ( Ra'ad 2,Babur,Harbah,and future P282+ and supersonic missiles.type 54ap is also equiped with supersonic missile yJ 12.

We have enough power to challenge the existence of any country who challenges our sovereignity.
