Even though I personally would prefer them to be more discrete, what you are saying is not always true.

There have been several cases when India has pulled out a rabbit from the hat, all of a sudden.

Not necessarily ,In early 1990s when Agni-1 was first tested ,late Rajiv Gandhi (then PM) said it was only a technology demonstrator ,today 20 years later we have Agni-III in service.

I understand your point. The thing is, when we have a 5000 km range ballistic missile, it can be launched from practically any site in the country. In case of a nuclear attack, all of our sites cannot be taken out simultaneously. And the MIRV technology will assure a 100% strike success.

When Indian government want to keep smthing secret the great CIA also don have a clue about it.........for eg:-nuclear blast ,k-4/15,arihanth.If there is nothing to hide then why should we hide.Smthing are for showoff this is how internatinal ppolitics is played ....dear!!!!

I have roomies whose friends work in L&T Hazira. They say the second hull is much larger than the first one. So keep your fingers crossed.
